Thank you so much for making this wonderful animation to accompany this beautiful, intimate, and very rare interview with Heath, circa Brokeback Mountain. Always so precious to hear this man talk and see what he had to say. A fascinating personality, a great, great actor and artist, and an even greater human being. Heath talks so lovely of his colleagues, like the legendary Ang Lee, and his co-star and future wife Michelle Williams, he shows respect, admiration and kindess for them. Which I think he had and showed to all of his colleagues and collaborators. He was a gold man. Miss you so, so much dear Heathy... Deeply missed from all of us. You were the Ultimate actor of your generation for me. We could only hope that you would have become, a legend for sure.

Hearing of an actor's death is never a happy moment, but when I heard that Heath Ledger had died, I quite literally could not believe it. I was gobsmacked. It took me about an hour to process it and accept that he was really, truly gone. His performance in Brokeback Mountain was SO good, so authentic, so heartfelt and real, it will reside within me forever.

This is an amazing interview. I love the animation, the words showing up, and I love hearing Heath's voice again and his natural way about him. What a terrible loss. He sounded so happy with his life, yet we know he was tortured by something. A loss.
@derfanddarf17 жыл бұрын
That's actually not true, he was a very, very happy individual right up to the end. He just had some issues with anxiety and sleep, and accidentally overdosed.

If anything it was home effecting him, he was having a hard time sleeping because he wasn’t spending enough time with his daughter. Leading to him gettin prescribed multiple meds to help with sleeping and a sickness he got on Doctor P. He loved his work, but family meant a lot to him.
