So this is a tutorial on how to set up the Steel Battalion controller with Armored Core 6. It gets a bit in-depth for people that also want to do this, but if you just want to see it in action then skip to the Gameplay chapter. Thanks for watching Ravens!

holy shit i gotta get one of these now, THIS IS SICK! combine this with the NEXT Movement Regulation or Retrobalance mods along with the 1st Person Cam mod and you got the ULTIMATE mecha experience.

Mate this is the fucking dream. The HOSAS setup is perfect for a game like AC6, its reminiscent of Cyber Troopers Virtual-On, one my favourite arcade games which also had dual stick setup.

This is hilarious. My friend who had Steel Battalion back in the day was saying how he wonders if he still had his SB controller if he could use it for AC6. Sure enough...seems it couldve. Sweet video dude! Hoping this get the views and attention it deserves. 🎉👍😎

Dude if he still had it he could play Steel Battalion Line of Contact, that is the multiplayer sequel with the controller, and it is still being played to this day just look up Steel Battalion Online

@@BlankTriggerGamers Just a heads up if you want to get more bang for your buck you can play Steel Battalion Line of Contact the multiplayer game that uses this controller to this day. I am apart of the Online community and we have weekly events.

This is a dope project, but you gotta refine your control scheme. Watching you take your hand off the right stick to mash missle buttons was painful. Can you not use the buttons on the top of the right stick? It looked like they went unused.

There's actually only 3 buttons on the right stick and the left stick only has a joystick on it. My right and left arm weapons are mapped to 2 of the buttons and the other is the lock on. You could map the 3rd button to one of the back weapons but anything else you want to do has to be mapped to something not on the stick. I beat the whole game using this setup, so it works for me when I got used to it but like I said in the video anyone can customize how they want to.

There's a few people that have got it working, I got the idea from a guy in japan who showed his setup on twitter. I think I'm the only one who made a tutorial on how to do it though.
