This video caught my eye because I’ve had this recipe in my recipe box for many years. Only recipes that are wonderful actually make it to my recipe box. This makes the best raisin bread that I’ve ever eaten. It’s good fresh or toasted. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks for sharing! Edited to add: I don’t have a stand mixer, I use a hand held mixer to combine the ingredients, at first, and then knead by hand.

APPLE BUTTER 5 - 6 lbs apples Cored and chopped into small pieces, no need to peel! 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed ¾ cup granulated sugar 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon salt ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves Optional-1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract Place everything (but vanilla)in a crockpot on low for 10 hours with lid on. Once 10 hours is done, blend with immersion stick blender, or place in a blender, until smooth. Place back in crockpot stir in vanilla (if using) leave lid OFF, cook on low for 2-3 hours stir occasionally until it’s desired consistency Place in jars makes about 3 pints. Keep refrigerated
