Just picked up a 1996 Hydra Sports LS205. All original pristine condition and never fished in tournaments. Evinrude 225 Vindicator, very low hours. Boat has not been molested with any aftermarket garbage. I bought from original owner and it’s been garage kept. Retirement boat with zero plans to get rid of. Brace yourself, paid $6,500.00. Boat run flawlessly and is a pleasure to drive. Boat still has a current style but simply not the price of new.

My pops has a 2000 triton tr20x with champagne color with red pin and cherry red strips. After it was built my dads boat my dad got a call from triton telling him they want to put it in a magazine and etc..Also the X series is the best. With a 2 stroke evinrude outboard. Its so amazing

Absolutely Love my 01 TR21. Repowered it with a ProXS 250 a couple of years ago. Replaced the carpet with Seadeck this year. She is a great boat and easily the fastest in my club.

'08 TRITON 21X2 Merc 250. First boat ever! Bought it used last year for $25k. (280 hrs on engine). Upgraded elect.and Garmin Force (another $10k). These "X2" boats have pedestal mounted seats, btw. Rock solid boat as I begin to think about my retirement years! 54 gal. fuel tank placed midship. Not as wide as my BIL 2016 Ranger Z521C, but has a better holeshot than his...and mine is PAID OFF! LOVE IT! Shout out to "C&O MARINE"! (Good Good folks!) Hell of a deal on that '99 offering, too!

I love my older 04' triton tr20x. The x series is just a step up from the standard tr series. It sure is fun to pass guys in brand new 100k boats...those older tritons when setup correctly will fly!

The X series came out mostly because many had a hard time driving the early TR's. The TR pad wasn't flat. Those boats would fly if you knew how to drive. 😂 I worked for a dealership back then before opening my own and talked them to getting on the Triton Train in 1999. No telling how many we put on the water. I also fished Team Triton, use of a boat a year sometimes two a year memo billed for one year. I think I had 34 Tritons total. That's crazy. 😂. I was also a high speed bass boat driving instructor back then and specialized in engine setup. My boat history is crazy long. Prior to Triton Earl Bentz designed a hull for Javelin, a TS196 (I think). 19' w/a 96" beam 225 rated. I got hooked up with Javelin rep and got on the memo billing program. Hung a Rude 225 on a 1994 Javelin and ran it at 7,200 r's at 88mph. 😮 Wish I had kept that one just to play with. Ran across the guy that purchased it ten years later. He said engine still running. 😂 As Triton built the hulls more driver friendly that got a bit slower. With I had kept one of the old Tr20's and that 196 Javelin. Oh well. Worse thing was at WOT on the 225 Vindacator Rude you could watch the fuel gauge drop 😂😂.

Y’all should do a blast from the past or over/under on a Stratus 189 VLO w/ 150HP. A buddy of mine just bought a 2013 VLO w/ 2013 Mercury ProXs 150 w/ 200hrs on engine, original owner, ALL paperwork, very mint condition, for $20k. Curious what you guys thoughts are on the VLO? Thanks

In case you people somehow have not heard about this.. Fastbass Marine in Kentucky just hung a Merc 450R on a Triton TR-20 and it ran 110MPH!!! I shit you not. If you have not seen the video I highly suggest you do so!

I love Triton but that isn't a great deal. I picked up my 2012 19 XS with a 2017 225 Pro Xs motor, power poles, and an Ultrex for 26K. Not as fast but it rides and fishes better than the old TR series.

I have a 2000 TR21. It was used for about a year as a camera boat on a TV show, but I'm the first registered owner. It has the original 225 Optimax, and I fished local tournaments with this boat since the day I took it home. I do routine maintenance myself, and recently finished updating it with a Ghost and Ionic 125AH lithium batteries for the trolling motor and electronics. I updated my electronics as often as possible (money wise), and now have two 12" Carbons, a 10" Pro Lowrance, Active Target 2, new carpet with pad on the front deck and deck lids. I also updated the trailer with new brake pads, master cylinder, wheel bearings, suspension bushings, LED lighting. That's about where I've stopped at the moment. I still need to replace the carpet in the seating area and back deck. And, I need to start looking for replacement seat skins. I swore it'd be the last boat I'd buy, but the new ones are sooo nice, it's hard not to look and wish!

Your right. I had a 2008 Triton and you had to drive it. I now have a 2024 TRX19. It does walk but not as bad. It's slower than the older Triton boats, but the ride is way better.
