Will It Be Us? Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. -1 Thessalonians 4:17 It’s a question that often arises: Are we the generation that will experience the Rapture? We could be. But no one can say with complete certainty whether the Lord will return in our lifetime. Of course, some people like to point out that the word rapture isn’t in the Bible. That all depends. If you have a Latin translation, then it is. The term “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is the Latin word rapturus, from which the English word rapture originates. You can call it something else if you’re uncomfortable with the term. But it speaks of the event when believers, who are alive, suddenly will enter the presence of God Almighty. The apostle Paul described it for us: “We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-16) Paul continued, “Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever” (verse 17) The Greek word Paul used for “meet” carries the idea of meeting royalty or someone of great importance. And when Christ calls us to Himself, we will meet the ultimate royal: the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Do we find a mention of the Rapture any other place in Scripture? Yes. Jesus spoke of it in Matthew 24, where He said, “Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming” (verses 40-42) Practically speaking, the Rapture means no death. However, it doesn’t mean that some won’t die. But it does mean there is a generation that will not die, a generation that will experience the Rapture. But if the Lord doesn’t return in our lifetime, we shouldn’t be disappointed. That’s because our hope is not in the coming of the Lord. Rather, our hope is in the Lord who is coming. What should be exciting to us as believers is not how we get there as much as where we are going. We have that hope. The Bible says of Jesus’ return, “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent” (2 Peter 3:9) We need to be ready to meet the Lord, because we don’t know what will happen next. But one way or another, we will stand before God one day.

The thing about modern cards that strongly emphasize on harmony and rhythm also come in play. yugi original deck is jack of all trades type of deck, have a lot of card that will come handy in certain situation. toast's deck also has fatal flaw of not able to pick it's pace when the monsters were destroyed.

this was such an episode.. it started with Sykkuno winning a full yugioh tournament. and having blau as a sort of underling to him teaching him the dueling ways. Toast comes up and obliterates sykkuno with an OP move that seems impossible to defeat. Blau comes and uses everything sykkuno has taught him and avenges him the the most anime like way.

You all ought to explore Edison Format. In the same way that Melee is Super Smash Brothers as it was back in 2001, Edison Format is yugioh as it was back in 2010. No XYZ, link, or pendulum monsters and very few hand traps, so it’s basically exactly what this playgroup is looking for. Sykkuno can even play heroes, they’re a strong deck in this format.

@@deathonion404 yes. Goats would be like Smash 64 haha. The reason I suggested Edison is because 1: it’s more popular and 2: the people in this friend group enjoy playing heroes and synchro monsters.

Realistically, you can make every single deck in master duel for free if you’re patient enough. Have not spent a single dime on the game and still enjoy playing with top tier decks without even having to make f2p substitutes. Because of the crafting system, master duel is actually very free to play friendly as long as you know what you’re doing.

Not really? Since the gacha system has an amazing system where if you don't get any UR cards, it's guranteed next pack and if you have any undesirables, you can just dismantle them to craft cards that you want

I think it’s pretty easy in both games. Especially modern Hearthstone with the improved Battlepasses, which already has good free decks, too and Master Duel when they give free stuff, or simply do the storylines -_- Really isn’t hard. Bunch of crybabies as usual. It‘ll never change I guess.

The turtle is actually a strong card Sykunno, it lets you skip any monster card your opponent has and direct attack for half. Pair this with any damage boosting spell cards like Limit remover, power fusion etc and this gonna hurt like crazy.
@MikaeruDaiTenshi Жыл бұрын
I think it actually prevents effects like Mirror Force and Swords of Revealing light, as the effect doesn't count as "declaring" an attack. Also, you can pass high-def monsters, but it's still risky if you tribute high-atk Monsters.
@LiMe251 Жыл бұрын
Also you can tribute catapult turtle to use the effect too
