This is really a conversation about character and integrity. Whether monogamous or polyamorous it’s about being completely honest with yourself and your partner(s). Some people are living their best solo or coupled lives because they deal in truth. So many gems were dropped here. I really appreciate the conversation and I learned a lot.

Men are not guaranteed to be the biological parent like women, men get paternity security through a woman's behavior. Through her being on his program. We are not the same biologically, so we don't have the same needs, so we don't play by the same rules. Your value as a life partner is determined by the market and the market is men. This lady is literally a former corn star. All this wanting to normalise astronomical bodycounts and trying to bodyshame men is just an attempt to lower the bar. Because no man she respects would ever put a ring on her.

Great conversation, me personally, I guess I’m old but I hardly want to be bothered with one man let alone multiple. I hate talking to more than one person for a long period of time. It’s so exhausting making time for each of them. I’m an introvert and it’ll suck the life out of me if I’m working m-f, mother when I get home, date Friday night, Saturday and Sunday with different guys. It’s fun at first but then it turns into a job and I end up leaving them all alone.

INTJ me too! When I was just single and dating, keeping up with all of them was too much and thinking about having sex with all of them. To hell with that! It got where I had to recollect: wait, who is this I’m kissing right now.⁉️ Nope. I’m a serial monogamist. One at a time. I’m all in and I need breathing room, too and I hope he has something else to do besides me. Love the conversation tho. What I see in Atlanta: these women are man sharing whether they know it or not. When are you going to bring STDs and unplanned pregnancies into this adult conversation ? There is that reality ya know.

The definition of solo polyamory is really inaccurate here. It’s a legitimate form of polyamory that involves the individual not desiring a nesting partner (a live-in partner) or combined finances. In general, they prefer their autonomy, but they still partake in consensual relationships/situations. Let’s not misinform the peeps! But beyond that, I love seeing the polyamorous conversation. It’s wonderful to see. 💓

@AfuaYmani Жыл бұрын
You can date multiple people without them having to know about each other. Like I'm not sharing names, just know that we are not exclusive until we agree to go exclusive. No one needs to know how many men I'm dating. The number is always changing anyway. Just know that I'm single.

Least they know and they love it so let them do their thing. It's possible to love more than one woman, so he making it work without having to sneak around and lie. And he gets a different one when he chooses. I do wonder if a woman had multiple knowing mates would all the men be faithful to just her or would they step out. Could multiple men be okay with all dating one woman and no one else? I don't think so. No man would be all in with one woman knowing she has 6 of him already and whenever she wanted. But for Nick and most men this works. Like all her baby daddy's are all her partners. I believe alot of this already goes on but the men and the women just cheat and lie to be with them whenever. They are just accepting, logical and opened minded about the situation. And you can't help who you love. They need to just all move in together. This is a good way to keep him involved in all his kids lives and a connection to each of his kids mothers. It's a win win. No bitterness with the new chic tryna dictate when and if he can see the kid. It allows his situation to work however it needs to work so everyone is taken care of and happy( kids, the women, and Nick)
