As someone who has done their "sexual due diligence" it was easy for me to begin celibacy in 2016. Everything EO said was real. You realize how little your past intimate partners know about you. You are hyper aware of the soul ties that can be created. I only disagree with sharing my celibacy with the men I date. It's nobody's business.
@notesofnara11 ай бұрын
I completely agree. Why would I share it with the whole freaking world??? I think it’s a flex and a need for validation from others if you need to tell everybody and their mama. It is an intimate thing between you and God. Or spirit.

I've been celibate for 10 years, no dating, no masturbating. I'm 31 now. Celibacy, as everything else, has pro's and cons. I've learned so much and grew immensely as a person! But now I also have some sex issues with an amazing partner. I was a heavy christian so did it for spiritual reasons. The soul tie theory is dangerous. Educate yourself on these topics if your considering it. If you want to be celibate, do it for the right reasons, I recommend to listen to the needs of your body and your emotions. Balance is key in life. Do what's good for you.
@Unseriousblkgirl2 жыл бұрын
Can you elaborate more on the soul tie theory being dangerous? I’m genuinely curious.
@Bri-ns5rm2 жыл бұрын
@@Unseriousblkgirl I don’t know what OP was referring to exactly but we aren’t tied to anybody. Attachment issues, low self esteem, and codependency are usually what keep people connected with those they’ve slept with. Addressing those issues and healing will really help you realize that it’s you and your issues and not some invisible string.
@Bri-ns5rm2 жыл бұрын
I agree. I abstained for two years after a bad situationship and while it helped in the beginning, I learned a lot about myself, I walked out with more sexual issues than I came in with. I internalized a lot of shame, felt disconnected from my sexuality as a whole, and even though I’m not religious started to assign morality to a completely human need. I’m six months out and sex still feels wrong. Discernment when choosing partners and finding healthy ways to connect to my sensuality/sexuality have helped the most.
@MoniqueIsMyMuse2 жыл бұрын
I totally agree about this “soul tie” rhetoric. I think it’s lowkey under the umbrella of slut shaming. Nothing but a tactic to control women IMO.
@MoniqueIsMyMuse2 жыл бұрын
@@Bri-ns5rm whew this is a word!!!!!! People don’t ever talk about this side of celibacy! I don’t think it’s all about finding yourself/reconnecting with yourself. I think there are moments within your celibacy journey where this applies, but they can also be moments when you may feel like you’re denying yourself of what it is that your body and soul is truly craving. In my 2 year long celibacy journey, there were times where I felt like I was denying myself a basic human need, I felt touched starved and I really missed physically connecting with someone romantically. My genitals are not separate from the rest of my body, so why would I ignore it/neglect it?! Again, I do believe that celibacy is necessary but to certain degrees. It’s all about balance at the end of the day.
@shonixl2 жыл бұрын
Announcing that your celibate is a red flag and shows the other person you may have emotional issues amongst other things. Just move normal, date at least 5 different guys so you can keep all your situations light and avoid putting yourself in sexual situations. Keeping all of the relationships light allows you to see people in true form and how they really are without pressure.

Your celibacy could be a symptom of sexual dysfunction, just in the same way having to much could meanin the same. It seems like the root of your problem is "hyper awareness". Its the reason why you could get a name like super head while at the same time be divorced three times(its a gift and a curse). Your a intellectual lover, and I would go out on a limb to say you where celibate way before you stopped having sex. Peoples construct of reality is like a finger print. It is a collection of life experiences unique to your brain. This is important because it explains why you can see more in human behavior than the average person(experience). I think you stopped having sex to make love, and I think you will start making love again(or make love for the first time). When the conditions are right. First, when you find someone you desire for selfish reasons rather than ego. Second when you find someone you trust to bring out your more vulnerable side that you have locked away in your subconscience mind for safe keeping over the years while you(shall we say) gathered intelligence. 2 years isn't that long. You could be waiting another 2 years for your softer side to forgive you curiosity and join the conscious mind to be more social or it may never forgive you, but that ok too. Side note its good to see you again. And you look better; you look happy.

First off, everyone does not have a past like hers and are damn sure not trying broadcast it. Would you want your son marrying this woman? There is really no overcoming of living that kind of life for that period of time and being known for these kinds of escapades that are probably in the cloud to be known and seen by the entire world forever, plus how embarrassing and mind bending for her kids must this be for their entire life. The only thing that could by honestly learned from her is to NOT do or be anything like her. This woman is actually trying to advise Virgins (AMAZING)!!! Being a virgin vs not being virgin is a colossal difference, night and day. Just because we've gotten used to coming behind multiple men and accepting/settling for the first guy's leftovers does not make it right nor profitable or healthy for our mental disposition. Here in the US this mindset is prevalent because we think that there are no or a lack of virgins (untouched woman) in this Country. But in other Countries a virgin (un-spoiled) truly high value woman will fetch a much higher price/dowry than the lesser value non-virgin (touched/spoiled) woman. If these women can grasp that they are consummating with each man that they allow inside of their body then they might rethink their true value and act accordingly and take full responsibility for their life and mind altering actions. These women Parents tried to warn them no sex before Marriage. But they have rebelled against this warning and this is what we have now. Used bodies, and no one honestly favors used over new. Btw pretty much every woman knows that they are suppose to be untouched, a virgin un-soiled and new before marriage. What man honestly wants to come behind other men and wed that woman? We are settling when we know that this eff's with our minds. There are many virgin women abroad in numerous Countries. Now if someone doesn't mind coming behind other men after they have used and soiled/consummated with these women with their DNA gene pool, then disregard everything said above, if you can.

LOL you can go around posting this on all her videos. It means nothing to most people. Laughable when you're the ones sleeping with these women.
@jayshar6592 жыл бұрын
@@TheBreemad Sorry, but you're wrong. I don't have sex with these kinds of women, although they do try to with me. I just have respect for myself and don't need the possible STD. I prefer a virgin (the norm). By the way, who are most people? I'm a man and I am sitting next to a woman right now and we agree. She's working on comments today also. This woman superhead is not speaking for any man or any woman that I know of and she's damn sure not dropping any wisdom or REAL knowledge. The only knowledge that she can drop is how to f-up your life, be suicidal, make yourself unavailable for a REAL happy marriage, be full of regret, extremely shameful, full of despair, lost, worthless, alienated, and flat-out bat ass crazy. Because if you follow her template the above results are what a women would have to look forward to. Now, how laughable is that? Honestly, who in the universe wants this life for a daughter, niece or sister? For if they do, they just might be a devil. Now, if superhead don't want the comments then she should stop posting on an open forum where people can leave comments. Trust me, we are good if stops posting. Now, who the hell are you? You might want to stop trying to defend the undefendable.
