Blazar 1.8 Anamorphic + Sony FX3 Test Footage

Walking around New Orleans with the 50mm 1.8 anamorphic for a day. Need to shoot some more but so far I love this lens. let me know if youd like me to make a complete review.

Visually pleasing, the bathroom shot was creamy. Was it natural light only?

Thanks! Yeah the house we were staying in had really great natural light. I'll be shooting on the 35 today hoping to get some good footage.

Like the image quality! Did you correct any distortion? Is there some pin cushioning happening on the left and right sides?

I did not, I need to play around with correcting the distortion. IIt was not overly apparent to me though.

they did, but dont forget that they recorded RAW 16bit externally, otherwise they wouldnt have filmed the movie with the FX3 as the director and cinematographer mentioned :)

man I think these are better than the remus but i really do want f2 waterfall bokeh but then GJ are so much cleaner and usable not to mention 1.8x

keep in mind that the 1.8x 50mm has variable squeeze and the others don't. I wish they would fix that...
