dude i've been using this little arm for YEARS and i never thought of clamping an object in front of my camera while i'm holding the camera. like WTF 🤯. I've mounted my camera in so many cool places with this: foot shifting on a motorcycle, top of a door while it's opening, on a vacuum etc... but now i feel like you've just unlocked a whole nother world for me. I actually use it regularly to get static shots on a rolling c stand so that i can quickly set up shots around my apartment. Thanks!

Motorbike shots looked sick! Just a heads up, i once rigged a S5 to a electric scooter - done with a grip, however even though everything held tight etc and the cage was safety'd off, the micro vibrations caused the camera to come loose in the cage and the camera actually fell out the cage during a take, whilst the whole rig stayed perfect... Could of just been the Nitze cage has only 1 - 1/4 thread to from cage to body, but still with throwing a small safety from camera to cage...

Cool shots, Cody. I love creative solves and I also love hard-mounted cameras. I have some bigger manfrotto magic arms (like 20" long) that go into super/mafer clamps. I'd be more comfortable with those on the bikes and the smaller arms as extra point of contact to get rid of the bounce. And remember righty-tighty... let the weight of the camera/glass try to tighten the mount point vs loosen. Looks like you're ok there. Regardless, cool shots and keep being crafty!
