He's arrogant regardless because that's who he is as a god, just that his soul without the unit is prone to unstable outbursts because it's used to having the armor stabilize it automatically.

The fact he says “you and this world/existence can go eat all this pain” instead of something generic like his other astral version shows a desperation and resentment for everyone else having a better place in the world that is rarely if at all seen in terumi or normal susanoo (I say normal susanoo cause most of what we hear from susanoo is a proud face that crumbles the moment he faces more problems even his god form can’t handle like in his overdrive versions where he acts completely unhinged) I honestly don’t know how some people rank his astral so low.

i feel like susano'o is more of a tug of war of personalities between what's left of hakumen's influence and terumi than people give it credit for. usually susano'o is more stoic and shares lines with hakumen's more condescending moments like the "weak... way too weak!" win quote. it's when he uses his all-seals install that he starts sounding desperate and throwing around curses like terumi, even changing tone to one more like him, with namely 3:48 and 4:23

I find Susanoo having two personalities, one of them is a "calm" like here 3:00/4:52, and other is psychotic murderer like here 4:24/5:59. Like if some pieces of Hakumen's personality stayed in the unit, and got merged with Terumi's personality.

Just checked his Solo Action quotes on the BlazBlue wiki and found out that there were audio files of Susano'o calling his 8 special moves...which he has never done in game so they were left unused. After this video the only move Susano'o called out is his Exceed Accel (Bloodspiller) but he instead roared "Thunder God's Howl" (5:26).

"Bloodspiller" is actually the localizated name for the move. The original translation would be something along the lines of "Boiling Blood's Stimulus". Which he also never says lol. Is so weird seeing these name changes taking into account that it wasn't going to be dubbed. Maybe is it a hint that they planned it at some point?

@@Inuzumi I just assume that since Hazama and Terumi already call their attacks in battle, maybe the devs decided to tone it down with Susan, instead focus on him screaming his intent to destroy. "Thunder God's Howl" is obviously a reference to Susano'o the God Of Storm in Shinto myth.

Yuuki Terumi is Susanoo's will, his personality seems to slighty change once he returns to his original body but he still has the same mindset. Kill Amaterasu and spread as many chaos, pain and despair as possible.
