I don't care if the game is 40$, 20 or even fucking free, having half of the roster, probably the second most important thing about the game after the mechanics, as DLC when they could've easily ignored EVO and make the game take more time to have those characters in instead of DLCs is fucking asinine. All the BlazBlue and P4A sprites have been done for years, Uniel's sprite got a little make-up to fit the art style but that's it, the only new sprites are the RWBY ones and there's only 4 of them now. No matter how cheap they're going to be and the game is going to be, it's a giant shit move both design wise and PR wise to have 50% of the roster as DLC. And people shat on SFxT for having them locked behind a pay wall, at least you had a full fucking game.

To be perfectly honest, Aegis being in BBCTB was (to me at least) completely expected. Back in the EVO 2017 reveal trailer and all other trailers then, the logo for Persona 4 Arena (P4A) has always been used. Not Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (P4AU). And yes, I know this isn't solid proof that the potential DLC characters will be from P4A but the fact that Arcsys has repeatedly used P4A's logo for almost all their trailers for BBCTB gives me a strong feeling about the potential Persona characters are from P4A.

burritoblaster, Hazama is no where near as complex to change (mechanic wise, not difficulty) as Hakumen and his magatama system. Just because their change sort of worked for Hazama means nothing really.
