Ju character is changed to "beast" instead of "ten", even though they have the same pronunciation. Musashi is based of Miyamoto Musashi (宮本 武蔵). How it's written as "634" (the number) instead of the Miyamoto's Musashi (which is written as "Martial" + "Warehouse") though, may be a reference to the manga Musashi no Ken (where the protagonist is Musashi, which is also written "Six-Three-Four", unlike the name Miyamoto Musashi). You're welcome! Thanks for the laugh! I think what really made it work is that comedy works by making us feel just uncomfortable *enough* to illicit that nervous reflex. So watching him take 100X that in damage probably during the fight and then *now* he complains is a reminder of just how much we "let go" even though subconsciously, it creates a very real dissonance. Then add to that the fact that he's doing it to his partner who's standing right beside him simultaneously which actually makes sense thematically because, Blazblue, and it's more than your brain can handle so you lose it! Again, *great* bit! :)

The way I see it, the fact that they keep making it seem like Blake is “only interested in her book” is really just a reference to how she used to hide her faunus trait from people at beacon. I guess she really doesn’t know what to expect from Jubei if he finds out so she’d rather not show it, it’s also a clever way to not spoil RWBY for those who still haven’t watched the first season.
