Your videos are amazing! Thank you. As someone who bought a home with a blaze grill and griddle I knew very little about them. About to try my first rotisserie this weekend and I feel confident because of your videos. Thanks so much

@@davemueller366 thanks for the comments. I love this stuff. I always say rotisserie is the easiest and most impressive way to cook. I need to redo some of my rotisserie vids. Those early videos are somewhat cringe worthy lol. I do these tutorials on my own time and they’re getting a little smoother, as time goes on. Thanks again.

Thanks, Jim. You covered a lot of ground. The good Blaze people sent me new burners & everything but the kitchen sink. So, I'll be busy the next available Saturday. Your tutorial will make it easier!

Well, then you need the kitchen sink. You know we offer that too lol. But seriously, thanks for comment.

Love my Blaze grill. I cleaned mine last month and did a Rotisserie chicken while things were soaking. Chicken can out great! I plug BBQ guys all the time and am trying to get my Father in Law to get one.

@@jennsheldon2372 that’s awesome. I usually do a rotisserie, as well, while the grill parts are soaking. Cheers

Hello Jim, your videos are always interesting; thank you. I’ve recently noticed a new accessory available for my 5 burners LTE; Blaze LTE Ceramic Flame Tamer. Any way you could produce a video about if their are any advantages of replacing the stainless tamers with these? You’re comments are always appreciated.

@@robouchard86 hi there…. Thanks for supporting the channel. I actually have a couple of the new ceramic flame tamers in my possession. I plan on doing a side by side comparison in about a week, or so. This time of year is my prime travel time so I’ve been all over the country preaching the gospel of BBQ…. lol. I haven’t cooked on them yet but I’ve heard decent reviews from some members of my team. Thanks again. Cheers!

Might be a dumb question... How do you clean the Infrared? I see that you soaked the other burners. I assume you cannot soak the infrared burner?
@grillingwithjimbo
@grillingwithjimbo 17 күн бұрын
@@oodjkibblesoo Good question…. The best way to clean the sear burner is keep it lit for about 5 or 6 minutes, after use, with the lid open. Burn everything off. After it cools down use a soft brush to remove the debris and ash.

Hi Jim, I recently installed Blaze power burner (professional lux model) and all I get is yellow/orange flames forming black film on the pots. Could you please let me know how this can be fixed to get blue flame? I contacted the customer support but they don't have any specific instructions for this particular model. Thank you.

I would start with opening the air shutters, slightly. Small adjustments. The burners can be pulled out once the cotter pin is removed. You’ll find an air shutter adjustment for each burner, located on the front side of the burners. A Phillis head screwdriver can be used to loosen the shutter. Inner ring and outer ring each have there own adjustment. Just curious, did you call Blaze customer service or did you call a dealer? Blaze CS should definitely have info on this model. 866-976-9510. ***here’s an update…. I just found this video online. You may be able to adjust the shutters without pulling the burners out. Check it out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3fZpZWehbZoj5Ysi=-Us9ityQFDyjdx5F

Jim - my grill is built in and was installed by a contractor. I can not remove the burners so I suspect the cotter pins were not removed. How do I access them? Do I ned to remove the back of the grill??
@grillingwithjimbo
@grillingwithjimbo 3 ай бұрын
It’s possible to get to the cotter pins from the front. What model do you have? Depending on what you have, I can give you suggestions.

I just got under the grill yesterday, and using a pair of 90 bend needle nose pliers was able to extract the cotter pins. I felt for them by hand first, insert the end of the needle nose pliers into the loop end of the cotter pin and they all came out with gentle pressure.

Yes. You can never over-season the grates. I go through that process in this video….. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2LOi6VsbNtmg9k (initial setup)

@@grillingwithjimbo I found that eventually, so I slap some Crisco on the grates OK not sure how that really seasons it but OK I’ll do it

@@pedrohizzle2835 it bakes the oils into the matte finish of the grates. Helps protect against corrosion and food sticking the surface.
