I have shot a lot of this CCI Blazer in 9mm over the years too -but not enough to buy a new car. That represents a lot of good fun and training, bravo! I was recently informed by a certain highly- placed individual in the executive branch of the US Federal Government that 9mm is so highly effective that it will blow a lung right out of the body. I'm sold! Molon Labe & Foxtrot Juliet Bravo!

I’ve been contemplating buying 5,000 rounds at today’s prices so I can reliably shoot at the range for the next couple years as prices continue to skyrocket. Buy once cry once i guess. Just insane that we’re clamoring for .33 a round 9mm.

I always seek out the 124g blazer brass 9mm because it's felt recoil is so soft. Great ammo to use for specific drills that you need to improve both accuracy and time. I'm suprised you didn't go into how dirty blazer is.... It's always been really dirty but in a completely different way from typical carbon fouling. It's like it leaves tiny little grains of sand all throughout my pistols which I'm assuming is flaking coming off the copper jacket. I really have to keep up on maintenance when shooting blazer because those little specs turn into a very abrasive like sand throughout the firearm.

Is Federal Brass 9mm FMJ 115g and 124g cleaner than the 124g Blazer you say is dirty?
@TerminalM19311 ай бұрын
@@Valeron5 OH yea, considerably cleaner. Amongst the cheaper ammunition choices blazer isn't too filthy, I just hate how much copper and brass flaking the cartridge leaves behind. It's like trying to clean thousands of little tiny grains of sand inside the pistol.... Federal is MUCH cleaner, both the Federal trophy brass and Federal American Eagle 115g 124g & 147g. Much less powder smoke out the front end while firing too which shows how efficient the powder burns.
@Valeron511 ай бұрын
@@TerminalM193 Thanks. I have mostly Federal in my stock but I have a few boxes of CCI Blazer. I think when I go to the range I’ll only shoot 10 of the Blazer and 90 of the Federal until I use up the CCI Blazer. In the future I’ll only buy Federal Champion Brass or Federal American Eagle.

@TerminalM193 Жыл бұрын
I've had the same thing happen with both my 4.5" Walther pdp & my Glock 17 mos. It's due to it being softer shooting compared to other practice rounds. I don't know if it's due to slow burning powder or not enough powder but they're always a blast to shoot because of how soft the recoil feels.

I like how he poopoos 9mm saying how dangerous it is yet all the time he's saying just get a 12g shotgun for home defense..... That 12g will do 10x more damage than a 9mm, especially if you're using slugs or buckshot... Hell even heavier birdshot will be stronger...

Blazer ammo has a problem or maybe is my cz p07 but over time the bullets shrink when kept in the chamber for long periods of time
@commiecrusher2 жыл бұрын
That's called setback. It happens with every bullet in every caliber and chambering. The bullet gets pushed back into the case over time from going up the feed ramp and clambering

@@commiecrusher not true I got federal law enforcement premium 147 grain and it doesn't have the issue
@TerminalM193 Жыл бұрын
@@charlfloms3189 That's because the federal premium is much MUCH higher quality, goes through more quality control and they use a special sealant that crimps the round to the casing much tighter. Comparing federal premium to blazer brass is like comparing a Walther PDP to a highpoint.... They both work but one is still vastly superior to the other.... Those federal rounds will also have setback over time as well, just not nearly as quick as the blazer.
