Congratulations on your new Blazer. However, I’m going to miss your adventures in the Leaf. Your ability to put the very limited range to practical use was confidence building to those of us in long range ev’s. If she can drive to Missouri and beyond, then I can go anywhere in my Tesla!

I have a normal blazer and everytime I see the EV I’m jealous, the gas is more fun but lord that thing is beautiful.

The Chevy volt had an engine just to recharge the batteries.

@ I’m not sure what you are talking about. The blazer EV has regen braking and the gas car might charge the 12v as it drives and a hybrid is a gas car.

@@carolinebray82 the 2015 Chevy volt came with a 1.5 liter engine that automatically started whenever the ev battery needed recharging while driving. But that engine never provided power to the wheels. The wheels were driven exclusively by electric motors. You could also charge that same vehicle like a regular EV.

Road Trip in the 2024/25 Chevy Equinox EV Blazer

New Car OMG !!! Felt so sorry for you on the cross country to Indiana, now you can feel sorry for me. My wife has a newer Equinox, 2 years ago driving down the Ohio River I felt something in the steering wheel. Took my oldest son out in it to feel the lane assist. I hit 35.8mpg in her Equinox that day going to/from Wheeling WV. We just hit 39 years of marriage Monday. I just posted a 3.5+ year review on my S Plus. Came out a bit dark last Friday with Hurricane remnants. I'll post brighter thumbnails soon. It's on my VotecEV channel, 2 parts.
