The building is still there, right? I've heard that the woodpile location was across, what is now a street, but I've been unable to find any videos that show where the woodpile would have been in reference to where the house still stands. That would sure help put things in a current day context.

The crumbling remains of one of the buildings is still there. The grave yard is as well, with markers for Roberts and Brewer. But bear in mind that these are on private property. It is best to plan ahead and get permission so as not to be trespassing. I do not have the contacts myself for that, but there are some who do.

There is a lot of confusion regarding the last stand of Roberts. I read that it was in the agency building where Blazer had an office, same building where Mrs Godfroy the Indian agent's wife had her restaurant. If Roberts was mortally wounded it's hard to see how he could have retreated a hundred yards to a building across from the sawmill. More likely staggered a few yards to Blazer's office. I also ŕead that Blazer's son Almer ,who was a witness , reckoned it was The Kid who shot Buckshot.

@@WattsMafiaOutdoors What do you think about how he managed to stagger a hundred yards with several unharmed Regulators itching to plug him. 🤔

The grave was lost to a flood in the early 20th century. they did place a marker where it is thought to have been.

I always hated that in Young Guns Robert’s is portrayed like some lowdown Bounty Hunter, even tough I liked the movie
