This is absolutely a better story than we were given. You truly understood the character of Ichigo without needing compromise for the story of Bleach, and it really shows. This is what Bleach was meant to be. The dark undertones, the lack of a clear hero, the attempt at being better than you once were even though you've been a monster... If only this were seen from the start.
