@@ChrisD755 Yes, we seem to want what we don't have. I am 65 yrs old and I had red hair growing up. I always want long blonde hair. My hair is fine. As I got older I started getting it cut in a short pixie cut with length on top with highlights. My hair has not yet turned gray. When it does I will let it grow in not cover it up. You have to work with what you have.

@@melodybrundage8844 I’m 65 with fine strawberry blonde hair too. That’s pretty amazing. As a young teenager I remember thinking Cher’s long black hair was so beautiful. I wished I’d had her dark skin too. Haha I always felt peculiar with red hair. I just wanted to blend in with everybody else. We’re usually so insecure when we’re young. I do have some gray myself, but I feel like I’ve earned it. Same with my wrinkles. They’re evidences of past joys and heartaches….proof we’ve survived a thing or two. Thanks for your comment, Melody. I bleached my hair once to crimson and I did a horrible job (of course then I was a teenager) so I let it fade and had 8 months of regrowth. I have been to a professional ever since. Lol, consider my lesson learned.

I have been watching so many of his videos and learned so much. The good and the bad. When I decided to go blonde, I'm happy that I had the money to have it done professionally. There really are so many steps to go through making sure that the hair and scalp do not get damaged or burned and you get the result that is best for your type of hair. I was in the salon for close to 7 hours.

Wow, the finale result looked stunning, a tweak here and there but other than that absolutely beautiful, she’s incredibly brave cos I don’t have the balls to have my hair cut short. Im 46(a very young looking 46) and I haven’t had my roots redone since June last year(2022) I’ve decided to allow my natural hair colour to grow through. It’s a very peppery silver colour( my natural) and so it’s not overly obvious to the bleach/ tint I was having done. My hair is considerably long and very thick with natural waves. I know it’s going to take a long time for it to grow out naturally but I’m determined to do it. I just hope I don’t end up looking like Gandalf or Dumbledor, without the beard 😂👍🏼🇬🇧

As a pre-teen, I gave myself a home permanent and then bleached it with peroxide. It turned orange and gummy. It was summer and when I went swimming in the pool and dried my hair, it turned green!

I’ve been watching so many hair fails and i really feel for these people as i never had the hair i wanted throughout my school career. Now I’m a senior in high school starting this fall and i finally have both the hair color that suits me and clear enough skin that i have wanted for so long. I want to color my hair beautiful reds and darker shades, but i always go back to my natural hair color. I’m perfectly fine with myself now, and don’t feel the need to change how my hair looks. If you want to color your hair, go for it, just research for hours on what to do… don’t do it impulsively. Believe me, i know.

With my buzz cut it took a few days to get it all settled and the hair all even. Then I really loved it. I did it because my long hair was driving me nuts! And it was actually very flattering, but I needed makeup to look my best. The downside is our head gets cold in winter, but obviously hats fix that!
