You really are the Bomb! 7 Volume developer!! (And then 13 volume) Amazing. No wonder you got no warm roots on such dark (level 5~6) hair! The lowest I have gone on myself is 20 volume! You have made me a believer!! xxx

English is not my first language, so I also not understanding well what to do. In the top part of the hair, dis she apply 7 volumes in the left part she applies bleach first? And then 13 volumes in the right part? Which volumen should be used for the back of the head? Thanks 🙏🌹

Schwarzkopf swells like crazyyyyyy eh? Dang! That's good that the cotton works to prevent it from swelling onto the lengths.

I hate how her roots were significantly more purple and lighter then the rest. You should’ve kicked out some of the darkness on the mids and ends for a more even result. The cotton is a great tool though. I have a trained eye, but to anybody else this color would look amazing.

@dante 0234 I use schwarzkopf(: there’s different levels of lift with each of their lighteners so you can customize the amount of lift per client. Knowing what lightener to use on what level of hair will also help prevent damage

Okaaaaaaay..... I'm convinced now to try dropping my volume. I have always used 20vol to do my roots, but I still get breakage because the hair that gets bleach put on first has the mixture sitting on for a relatively long time. I try to mitigate this by switching which side I do first, and by doing the front and back of my head on different days. But looking at how dark your client's hair is, and seeing the lift you got with 7 and 13 volume, holy damn, I think I'll try it your way. To clarify: when you did the front quadrants, you did a 1:1 ratio lightener:developer, on the first front quadrant you used 7 volume, and on the second quadrant you used 13 volume. Is that correct? Thank you so much for this video. There is a metric butt-ton of bleaching videos on youtube, and the majority of them aren't helpful. This one's awesome though!
@alfiethefeline3311
@alfiethefeline3311 Жыл бұрын
that roots not looking like darker then level 6-7 to me, first of all you should never use 1:1 ratio bleach, secondly yes you can drop the developer however the hair needs to be light enough to you to do that. besides that /YOU STILL GET BREAKAGE is not becasue of the developer, its usually about the application, she does one thing correct in this video which is the cotton wool barrier. If you do the same you wont get breakes. There is not one good video about bleach and toner in KZbin, this one is alright however the result is bad, i think she left the toner far too long the ends was matte and roots was a shiny grey colour. We all been there. toners not supposed to stay on hair more then 10 mins max realistcally. finally bleavh and toner is the most difficult thing to do in hairdressing, so its even impressing to see people video this.

@modernblondee1306
@modernblondee1306 Жыл бұрын
With someone starting that dark it all also depends on how fast or slow your application is. You can start off with 10 or 13 or those mixed and then move to 13 with sometimes I’ll throw in a small small amount of 20 in there.
