I find it interesting just how many parallels there are between Ichigo and Kenpachi. Both have an incomplete Zanpakuto in either form or understanding, they both fight with their immense spiritual pressure with little nuance to their understanding of its formalities, they both ultimately have a more instinctive fighting style than their peers, and both their Zanpakuto are conduits for their own innate strength as opposed to other Shinigami like Byakuya whose strength primarily comes from their utilization of their Zanpakuto's abilities.

Aizen is borderline immortal due to his reiatsu being on the level of the reiō. Ichigo is a hybrid of all the races, that's why he's #1. Kenpachi is underated when it comes to writing, sure he is stupendously bloodlust ed but this characteristic overshadows the fact that he is quite loyal to the seritie and especially his squad, and the relationship of his power with his character, all that power caused him to be lonely to go from unohana lvl at a young age to having difficulty with shikai ichigo. But after he ressolves this internal conflict is he able to tap into his true power while simultaneously having thrilling battles during tybw

Characters in the Soul Society arc like Uriyu were at least .5x SoL, likely faster, with Ichigo dodging Uriyu's light arrows before even entering the soul society. We also have characters like Urahara dodging Balas in base; with Balas being 20x faster than Ceros which are also confirmed to be light-based (Although likely MUCH MUCH faster)

Don’t forget, even with the filler episodes he was able to overwhelm most of the opponents except for the raigai he was being overwhelmed by those guys because they kept attacking multiple times but in the end he still survived, and he was able to knock out the stealth force break all their swords, kick one guy out of the way, and the guy flying by a single punch. I would say his combat experiences quite versatile because he just doesn’t use his sword, he uses every part of his body to fight.

Using "False Shikai Ichigo" is a pretty vague power-scale with what we know of "OMZ" or young Ywach. It's very likely that OMZ/YY was letting go of some of his restraint on Ichigo's dormant power to let him best Zaraki, ESPECIALLY since Zaraki would be caught off-guard by this sudden jump in power...I (Quantifying this jump is harder than you make it seem, as White/Zangetsu says Ichigo is being crushed by the spiritual pressure of his own bankai while he's having no such difficulty and is shown to be absolutely bodying Byakuya)

During his first battle against Kenpachi, OMZ used Blut Vene so that Ichigo wouldn't bleed out, but that's it. The "skull" was just White manifesting all of Ichigo's reiatsu at the time at once. At that point, there wasn't much "dormant power" that coukd be accessed anyway, without Bankai or especially without an Asauchi.

I like that the amount of power the eyepatch holds back stays more consistent than I first imagined. At first, I thought you would mention the Nnoitra fight, because we can do a fair comparison from that fight too: Zaraki with eyepatch is getting used to Nnoitra's skin, once he gets used to it, he starts pummeling him very easily. Then, Nnoitra uses his Ressureccion, which Urahara compared directly to a bankai in the tybw (so roughly a 10 times multiplier) and Zaraki manages to kill him without the eyepatch. I never thought about how consistent it was with the Ichigo fight

You made an observation that made a great deal of sense to me, and I wonder what your source is for your information: You said Kenpachi fought, and was defeated by the REAL Yhwach, BEFORE he visited Aizen, leaving Royd Loyd to finish him off. The way I always read than scene was Kenpachi fought, and lost to, Royd Loyd - thinking he was the real Yhwach - while real Yhwach visited Aizen. This always bugged me because Royd Loyd only copied other people's form and memories, while his brother Loyd Loyd was the one who copied form and powers, as he did when Kenpachi defeated him. But for my reading of that scene to be correct then that would leave a paradox. If Loyd and Royd had the same base strength (being twins) and the one who fought Kenpachi while matching his strength and form was actually innately stronger than Kenpachi and actually traded down when duplicating Kenpachi's strength. Your interpretation of those events eliminates that conundrum. My question is: was this confirmed (in manga, anime or Klub Outside) and I missed it? You asked if there were any fetes you missed and I can think of one detail that nobody seems to look at: Zaraki the immovable object. Giant Gerard swung down on Bankai Kenpachi with an arm as large as a train and Kenpachi stopped him by catching, with his teeth, then rips Gerard's whole arm off at the shoulder with a jerk of his head. While everyone sees the impressive durability of being unscathed by the attack and the casual dominance of his counter-move, they miss the really insane thing about this: Kenpachi wasn't driven into the building he was standing on like an indestructible nail. His body didn't tail here because he was strong, but the building didn't take all the destructive kinetic energy of the blow because in that instant Kenpachi was a fixed point in the universe. That's not strength. That's nightmare-level monstrosity.

It seems that the explanation (or at least the English translation) of the Lloyd brothers' powers was inaccurate. Both copied powers and memories but each was better at one than the other. So Royd had all Yhwach's memories and 70-80% of Yhwach's power.

I always said this, if unohana was the first kenpachi and acknowledged by Yamamoto, then is shinigami reserved to the title of officers within? I believe Yamamoto bestowed that title to his most powerful subordinates. Zaraki is literally just Ichigo with a crap ton more experience. Overwhelming raw power, top tier reflexes, and is very good at reading his opponent's movements and acting accordingly. Ichigo's boosts with Zaraki are spelled out. His power doubled after his awakening as he began using Zangetsu's power, not just his own. That boost brought him up to and slightly surpassed Zaraki as Zaraki even says Ichigo's spiritual was slightly stronger than his own.
