I just realized. The Quincy likely erase the Hollow not only because they're toxic, but because Yhwach always meant to destroy the balance between the worlds anyway. So there was no reason to worry about purifying the souls. Yhwach is the crux of the Quincy race, if he was against destroying hollows, it doesn't matter how the rest of the Quincy felt, the Hollows would not be destroyed.

Or maybe the Quincy powers are a reflection of how the Soul King got rid of the Hollows before separating the 3 worlds. Since the world before had no death and no cycle of rebirth, the only way to "kill" a hollow was to erase it entirely.

The Soul King is a being from the original world that has interesting abilities of stillness (same as shuhei's bankai, Mimihagi's powers are probably the remnants of the original world) and progression (Pernida, likely the ability he used to create the present system with the worlds). But for the SK to be a fullbringer it does kind of hint at him also having hollow powers.

I wonder if contact with any foreign Reatsu can awaken an fullbring. If Urahara injected a predisposed human with a bit of Shinigami reatsu, would that awaken their fullbring abilities? It could be that all the members of Xcution had their powers awakened by hollow attacks because those are the only Reatsu beings that attack humans regularly. I mean given the way the Bleach word works, I assume fullbringers awakened by reatsu from other beings would be given a different name and abilities. Kinda like how Vizards and Arrancars are both shingami/hollow hybrids, but with different origins.

I don't think they had Fullbringer in the time of One World. Back in the Singular World era, a lot of things were different from what we know in the current three worlds status. That was a World without the concept of death, which meant there was no passed souls, no plus and no hollow, everyone was basically immortal back then. Yhawch was the Father of all Quincies, so Soul King was the only one who can be called Quincy in that time. Iceibei was the first one to name all things in Soul Society in the beginning, so it could be assumed that things would have different calling in the Singular World, there was no "Shinigami", just people with spiritual power, and before Oetsu, these particular strong individuals wouldn't have their own weapons "zanpakto". When people turned into monsters (they didn't have the name, "Hollow" yet), they didn't go through "dying then hollowfication" process, they just became monsters, perhaps out of boredom or desire.

Kubo actually dropped the foreshadow for ichigo being a Quincy twice in "Agent of the shinigami "arc. 1. Ichigo saw soul Robbins similar to uryu. 2. Kisuke when explaining the Quincy past. Kisuke tells rukia "Quincy are humans who can see spirit,like ichigo they have powers" This could be me looking to much into that line. But I dont believe so because some would just see that as a comparison kisuke used explain it to rukia

That argument doesn't make sense since it's unlikely that quincies bond with regular humans given their superiority complex. Any Quincy worth the salt can eliminate regular hollows which are the only ones found in the world of living. Also it's not Hollow's fault that they go after living beings. Just like an insane person can't be held to the same standards as people of sound mind for committing crimes the same applies to hollows.

Its not the Hollows fault but its definately the Shimigami's and Reios, Also in the primordial world Hollows existed while Death wasnt already invented so they have always been a problem regardless. Its possible Ichibei and the others hacked the system with Adnyeus's powers later on to heal Hollows sure but blaming the Quincies is very narrow visioned. They are the minority collateral damage.

He was forced into that, the only way to let go is by killing the Soul King and unifying death and life as once was, that was the actual natural state of the world. Yhwach cant die, cursed to become a shell blackened baby which hosts quincies souls upon their deaths and feels all their pain. So what are you talking about when saying let go? how? Neither he nor the quincies asked or deserved this, so why is it their fault? Esp. while the primordial world had none of these problems and Yhwach was a peaceful part of it.

The sun gates are ways to enter both the Wandenreich and Wahrwelt, in fact, we hear in the anime and manga, Yhwach telling his forces to gather his Sternritter for the first invation, and when they go to the Wandenreich the remaining Sternritters are thankful that the sun gates still work.

Kinda needed more back story on the quincy as individuals why they're fighting, what dreams they had, did they lose family because of soul reapers instead of one note quirky characters to be beaten. Also should of been more honor bound given even mayuri mentions how often the quincy would say " by the honor of the quincy i cant/won't let you do that. Get the reader to be split on who they wanted to win certain fights because it's war and both felt justified. Fingers crossed some of them went to soul society like the full bringers

I think another reason why they overtook hueco mundo was to have access to an area with a large amount of ambient reishi to boost their power in preparation for the first invasion, although the wandenreich exists within seireitei, it's divided by existing within the schatten bereich.. but let me know if that seems off.

As a Catholic myself I'm really impressed by how much similarities There is between Quincy and Catholics. Kubo is a genius. Also here's another christian reference with regards to the soul king's arms: Those who are chosen by the right hand of God are destined for eternal life and contentment. Those chosen by his Left hand are destined for damnation. Pernida who is the left hand of the soul king chooses to join the Quincy. While Mimihagi chooses the shinigami instead. The right hand of the soul king represents stillness and contentment. In essence, peace, fulfilment and everlasting life, in essence, heaven. The left hand represents progress. In essence, discontentment, unfulfillment, wanting and longing, war, dissatisfaction In essence, damnation. which is further symbolized in the Quincy's ability to take and subjugate power.

TBH the Quincies are actually a cool concept that I wish I would of loved to have seen more outside from battle.But let me get this straight Rad you said that every Star Knights 🌟🌟🌟 schrift is just a power amp from Yhwach himself that only grants the Quincy Spiritual power and not the actual ability themselves.Which would mean that Yhwachs Aushelen technique doesn't necessarily take away a quincies unique ability but just their spirit energy/power.Is that what you mean't by that🤔

No. For impure Quincies,Yhwach just redistributed their power to his Soldiers to amp them. But for Sternritters,Yhwach make them drink his blood for Power amp and simultaneously grant them a Schrift. After that process,the Schrift is literally also a Part of their(Sternritter's) power. Which as a whole can be absorbed by Yhwach using Auswahlen. Yhwach cant do the same with Gerard and Pernida as their Schrift werent by bestowed by him.

Quincy Powers at first glance look very similar to the full bringer power. However, their Quincy cross seems more akin to a zompoc too. He can't be separated from its wielder is more of a physical representation of a Quincy's power, so it changes as the Quincy's power increases shown on early in the series. It was just across and then the cross changed when he got a new bow and then it changed again after he got another pelvis. So at Quincy's power seems to be something like a mixture of a full bringer and a soul reaper

35:14 glad you added this. Yhwach didn't give them their abilities he gave them power to activate it. Otherwise he would've given Schrifts to every quincy to bolster his army and ensure he got power back but instead searched (as shown by As Nodt's backstory) and gave Schrifts according to their latent ability. Btw, he still had the basic version Almighty when making these choices so he most likely looked into the future to see which letter would've worked best. And, it's also a ritual he developed after taking in some part of the Soul King throughout his long life, as it's very similar to Fullbringers which is based on Soul King remnants

If Yhwach is a trinitarian deity that'd hint that he is also the soul king, that he is an aspect of his own father. The Trinity involves The Father The Son The Holy spirit. Jesus is YHWH and not just his son, he is God that turned himself mortal to live as a man. The trinity is a catholic belief, and the quincy seem to take Catholicism as it's inspiration than it did any other sect.
