This is the first time Zaraki Kenpachi is experiencing Unohana's bankai! In term of potential Zaraki was stronger i supposed even if she could defeat him with loads of efforts. But he already passed her guard and pierced her in the chest! The healing is obscure to me, her shikai and bankai have insane healing abilities/// plus she learned healing from Kirinji?

I will say that when you find out his swords name, will be a while. Yet as much as they are rushing this arc, it seems like they are just putting it out as quickly as possible to just get the fans to shut up. So much is being left out, it is disappointing how much story has already been cut and it feels like they are just doing it to say "here is your ending so stfu" 🤬

As a manga reader, this episode reveals that yes. Zaraki has earned BOTH his Shikai and Bankai. It's name and powers will formally appear during the second invasion of the Quincy.

Unohana being able to kill Kenpachi even a hundred times suggest she could have solo’ed literally hundreds of non elite Sternritter. There are only around twenty of them. Yamamoto wasn’t bluffing when he said he would slaughter the entire enemy force. On paper he steamrolls. Even if he died he knew if Quincy breached the hospital/4th division Unohana would clean up. She’s nightmarishly strong even without her Bankai.

The Green Mantaray is her shikai, the fun thing is her Shikai and Bankai are both called Minazuki, the difference not being in the romaji spelling but the katakana Her Shikai is spelled 肉雫唼 and translates to Flesh-Drops' Gorge, while her Bankai is spelled 皆尽 and means All Things' End

The imagery with the red sword being given away represents Unohana teaching Zaraki everything she knew during the battle and finally giving him the title of Kenpachi, Zaraki got constant firmware updates until he got back to his natural state, then his tecnique changed and surpassed Unohana's even with her broken overheal On Since he finally went back to his natural state he finally was able to hear the voice of his Zanpakuto, the sword he has been wielding even before he fought Unohana, he picked up from a dead shinigami he killed and as the Blade God explained it takes time for it to get the imprint of your soul. If you remember the Zaraki vs Ichigo fight, Ichigo said that he could hear the screams of his zanpakuto but Zaraki didn't, now we know that it's because he was quite literally plugging his ears, unconsciously

Unlike Ichigo, Kenpachi tied himself so his power level was dirt level and then went up to the level of his foe, that's why all his fights were so on the edge Ichigo is just actually growing in power

For example Shunsui is clearly attracted to her and even tries to go for a kiss while resting on her lap and Katen is jelaous that Shunsui wears a kimono that belonged to another woman.

And their fight lasted for days i suppose, why they probably showed Ichigo and Renji and the 3d passing! Kenpachi is trying to keep up with what was happening and trying to explain it! But how her bankai that can be translated as "the end of everything" can be just reduced to insane healing alone, does it have decay property too? TK u explained a lor in the anime, but im still lost🤣
