Uryuu knows that Yhwach killed his mother (remember in the first cour, when he read his father's diary and freaked out for a couple episodes). They cut a line from the manga last episode, where Jugram says that he suspects that Uryuu has joined them to avenge his mother, but Uryuu denies it. I like your predictions, and they make general sense. I won't confirm whether or not they are anywhere near what happens though. Things are going to get CRAZY in the coming two cours.

He warned her to dodge so she probably took his advice at the last seconds and lost her arm for trying to tank it in the first place. Or she just barely managed to parry it. I forget what happened in the manga because I haven't read it since it was still releasing weekly chapters.

regarding her arm after that massive Getsuga Joujisho: I think it is implied that she actually tried to dodge last minute, but even that cost her an arm. Pretty sure she would have died on the spot if she just decided to tank it.

This episode was so fucking good! Ichigo’s entrance with the new version of “Number One” was awesome! I loved the interaction between Ichigo and Kenpachi. I loved that Ichigo was completely unfazed by the Bambis. The Bambis basically having Voll Stern Dich be a magical girl transformation makes so much sense and is so funny to me. You can really see Ichigo’s power and power increase because Getsuga Tenshou is no longer this big move, it’s like flicking a wrist. And art looks even stronger. Getsuga Jujishou look amazing! I don’t know why but I laughed really hard when Gigi got bit in the neck by Liltotto’s attack. I was expecting this to lead into a Uryu and Ichigo fight. I guess that will be later on. The Bambis Schrifts are The Glutton, The Power, The Thunderbolt, and the Zombie.

9:32 I'm assuming that the arm Candance used to try to block Getsuga Jujisho was able to protect her... At the cost of that arm. Kind of similar to Grimmjow saved himself from Shinji's cero with another counter cero.

He barely is fighting them... He even punches Candace after that defensive Getsuga... He could have stabbed her.... He is trying not to kill them... The actual moment he gets properly ready to fight is against Yhwach where his Reiatsu actually forms a physical skull/mask around him....

Ichigo’s fight with the Bambis are extended in this episode and they did great with. In the manga, none of them uses those attacks except Candice who I’d say is the main fighter in the manga version of the battle while the anime gave all 4 a chance to show their powers .

So, apparently this episode had some production issues, at least from an animation standpoint. But if this is the quality they're putting out when having problems, then that's a good show of how talented they are. I can only count maybe a few small sections where the animation was a bit lacking. Not terrible or even bad, just a bit unpolished.
