im just disappointed that they did not animate the captains discussion in the r&d room... that will atleast explain some things to us non manga readers and the ichigo vs yhwach fight seems a little bit lackluster especially that part where they are just yellow and blue energy waves clashing onto the air... i atleast expected some KnY type of shi but hey who am i to complain (to be fair, i just watched clips of KnY, not watched the entire thing cuz its too boring) and lastly... dayum why is my gang just standing there not stopping ichigo's hand for more dramatic impact? are they affected by the kyoka suigetsu again or something? Anyway, dramatic impact aside what can the gang even do to stop Ichigo? Like Yhwach can stop them if necessary, or well the whole thing happens within split seconds that the gang are bambozzled that Ichigo did it.

Original Ichigo was supposed to be the next soul king because of his potential and the true fusion of all races bro got like 10 times stronger and the writer was rushed to finish it just feel like Ichigo had another hidden power that would counter almighty which kind of killed the ending thanks to manga market

Yhwach finally is not a joke villain anymore from a writing standpoint, and I actually feel really bad for him, despite the things he has done. Soul Society higher ups need to go, they are the actual villains of the story, Aizen and Yhwach are just symptoms of their corruption.

This is my most wanted addition out of the TYBW to help make me feel satisfied with the ending. I love that they gave us this. Now really for me the only other addition that would make the still silver plot point work is if they have Isshin also reveal he has his from Masaki and that Ryuken and him team up to make the arrow. I am so happy they included this, though. It’s been my biggest wanted addition to the series since I read the ending in 2016.

I think yhwach was crying cuz reio forced yhwach into the current world and abandoned him. And basically ichibei renamed yhwach as the father of the Quincy to get all the Quincy souls that pass away, instead of the Quincy souls going into the cycle of the current realm, The Quincy don't fit in the current realm. It's why yhwach wants to send the realms back, so he doesn't have to take all the Quincy souls and suffering again.

It's why yhwach was turned into a baby. Either Ichibei or the soul king forced yhwach into being a baby. Yhwach might not be his original name since he's been reincarnated so many times.

The most important thing in this cour is that it's pulling many things that were implied or outright stated in Can't Fear You Own World(CFYOW) The Soul King Andyeus was a being like what you see with the Hogyoku transformation. He was the first being in the primorial world to be like a case with Ichigo. He had all the powers and aspects of souls from the 3 realms, and like you saw in the last cour with Ichigos training in the Irazu Sandō with Ichibei allows Ichigo to see the eternal memories of the "original world" The original world will continue to be a big point of conflict. As the story of Bleach is a conflict of religions. The Shinigami are representations of Shinto-Buddhsit-Daoist elements of philosophy/religion. The Quincies represent the Western view of the world. I.e Gnosticism/Abrahamic religion. It's why the Quincies also have a Nazi theme to them as well if you didn't already notice. The whole point of this arc is that Ywach wants the world to be like what you saw in the flashbacks in this episode. That primorial world that cosmic ontological ocean of existence and soul. No boundaries (different worlds and laws) and thus no life or death. Which means no pain or suffering. Ywach wants the world created by the ancestors to the 5 grand royal families to be severed and destroyed since it's the source of what he views as evil, pain, suffering and sin. This makes sense when you look at the world in Bleach. You have 3 realms all living in fear of death. To understand fully, you have to do literary analysis and look at Eastern Philosophy In the East, specifically in terms of Buddhism, the primary struggle facing people is the cultivation of self and freeing themselves from the cycle of samsara. Those who selfishly pursue things will be forced to endlessly reincarnate and thus, continue to experience "dukka"(suffering) and "anatta"(impermance) until they let go of the five aggregates of Buddhism. In Confucianism, You have a humanist centered philosophy, that espouses, the flourishing of society as being the best good. Anything deviating from this or the virtues of a enlightened individual in society leads to the imbalance and gives the impression of "Evil". that is Specifically to "way of the gentlemen" are benevolence (ren 仁), righteousness (yi 義), ritual propriety (li 禮), wisdom (zhi 智), and trustworthiness (xin 信). However, in Shintoism, there is a struggle and balancing of kegare ("pollution" or "impurity"), while ensuring harae ("purity"). Which contradicts some Buddhist ideas of the non-self(atman) In Daoism, you have the Cosmic Yin and Yang. Which is Dialectical monism, also known as dualistic monism. This is not to be confused with just monism(the idea that reality is built on things of a material substance, like atomism). This is a special case of ontology (study of being) where the forces represent themselves, as perceptions in the realm of the minds, not substantive nature. It's also merely an illusion like Buddhism. In Daoism, they practice "wu wei" and forms of partaking in Dao(or Tao) there is human dao, natural dao and great dao. But tying back to Bleach in simple terms. Ywach (Juha Bach) is trying to create the original world which is like the Western interpretation of Heaven or an eternal persistent world. This should make thematic sense, since Juha Bach is basically a allusion to the Abrahamic god. He has the Messiah theme and since he's the son of the "Soul King" this is similar to the Holy Trinity. The Soul reapers are trying to maintain the cycle of Samara from Buddhism which is responsible for the wheel of life, death and reincarnation. It's a battle for the best possible worlds

yeah but isnt ywach wrong on their being no suffering? i dont know the source, but reading on the wiki it said the original world was still suffering from hollows till the soul king appeared and fought back, before the 3 worlds were made. if canon, seems like an odd point for ywach to not know about

Most likely Hell. Hell existed as the only separate realm than the combined universe before Adnyeus split it into the three we know.

Hollows tried to unbalance the world and hasten the world to its impending doom so Soul King prevented it as it was stated in CFYOW. But Soul King went overboard with the killing, unbalance the world for the second time and that's why he agreed to split the world into three. Yhwach intentionally omitted the full event to push his narrative.

well he is the messiah figure and as well as the acting lord of everything he was simply talking about the problem with Hollows and the primordial world as Humans and Hollows are much older than we thought, that gaping darkness was what gave birth to hollows and also allowed Humans who were lost to become hollows, he was holding the darkness back by himself but with him separating life and death and using the original sin in order to establish a new world he effectively had to abandon the Quincy race in order to give rise to something new someone like him to be born; which is why there was an emphasis to Ichigo's existence as something that made the Soul King Happy, or someone the Soul King Likes because someone like Ichigo is what he was waiting for as he saw one thousand years into the future and possibly even beyond his death as his eyes were perfect unlike Yhwach who only awakened three Iris. Hell wasn't so much the problem, with the Almighty and what we know to be some of the ideas with how the other worlds would function from the Ancient Noble clan heads then he even managed to use Almighty to create order in the Primordial remains and turn it into Hell.

In the 19:29 minutes, of the episode not on this video BTW, Yhwach said, To completely destroy the seal that protects the soul king, one must simultaneously have Quincy, Human, Shinigami, Fullbringer, and *Hollow* power. And Ichigo has all of them completely awakened at this state, something that took him a long time to attain. The key part is Hollow. Hollow is literally a poison to Quincy, and Yhwach probably wouldn't risk tainting his blood with it before he's properly and completely awakens his full power, because remember last episode Jugram said if he awakes too soon he will lose Almighty completely. Not to mention, like all Quincy, Yhwach despises Hollow. Or it's just what the plot wanted it to be.

That could mean SK is also an ideal hybrid,but in CFYOW wad stated, that the SK had no hollow power. I mean,if Ichigo wouldn't have hollow power, would he be able to kill the SK?

This episode was simply incredible as someone who hasn’t read the manga but still knows what happens slightly it was nothing but amazing! When yhwach said Adyneaus I literally did the Leonardo dicapio meme pointing at my TV the fact he said the name during a chant that the viewers won’t even notice or care is absolute genius and a great example of bleach’s foreshadowing skills. I’ve said enough 11/10 ep!

We still need more lore about the past and the Soul King, but this episode is the way to do stuff, roughly 3 chapters and lot of new contents. The "horror scene" at start with Ichigo and how Yhwach literally toyed with him in this entire episode, especially at the end, were the best moments for me (all according to Yhwach's keikaku).

So, are they going to rewrite the final battle between these two? He was obviously no match for yhwach with the Almighty, so facing him again with the enhanced powers seems pointless. So they will have to rewrite the ending in someway, probably allowing Ichigo to actually use his bankai with the horn of salvation.

I´m sad they cut the little scene with Ukitake before Ichigo cut the soul king, I really hope they do a little "10 minutes earlier" scene next episode where there is the entire talk etc. before SPOILER happens (you guys know what). They added a funny convo with renji and rukia but honestly the conversation in the manga witch Omeada was funnier. Otherwise it was pretty good, I love the things they add to the story!
