In high school, Dame hit a clutch shot against his opponents and went nuts celebrating. However, there was too much time left on the clock and the other team came back and hit a game winner. Which is why you never see Dame go too hard in his celebrations and why he said what he said tonight.

He's always been classy, goat is bit of a stretch tho. He is one of my favorite players too and I can see why so many others respect him so much. Very humble respectable. Also, the way he does his Dame Time celebration is more for just for the fans, he never really tries to throw his celebrations in other players face like so many others typically do and it's not a disrespectful celebration either. I like Haliburton but I do think that was a little disrespectful since he only did that that celebration knowing Dame was on the other side. Haliburton never does that celebration agaisnt other teams so it was kind of a slap in the face towards Dame imo, which was not classy at all

Dame's a great player and clearly super humble. The only reason I don't gravitate to him as much as someone like Steph or Giannis is that he doesn't seem to have much of a personality. He's there to play good ball, and that is it, which I respect. But it's very difficult to be a memorable player that lives on in people's minds long after they're done playing if they don't have very much personality, and that's where I'm at with Dame.
