No, they shot that many 3s because mavs forced them to. Edvards lanes were cloged, he couldn't drive. Luka actually locked him up in few possessions, he didnt even try to play 1on1. Its gonna be great series, didnt expect dallas to win 1st.

The game should be decided by the players, and here's why it wasn't. There were 4 or 5 phantom calls in the 1st half that helped the Mavs. No contact calls, repeatedly. And on the other end, there 3 or 4 no-calls on blatant fouls when the Wolves were trying to score. They didn't show replays on those plays for the most part, so many didn't notice. But then all the challenges went Mavs way, too. Even the Conley call where Conley lightly tapped someone on the back with the tip of his finger and got called for an over the back foul? I couldn't believe it when the refs watched the replay of that and still called it a foul on Conley. The crowd objected so strongly that they cut the audio for a good 10 seconds on live TV. That ridiculous decision by the refs, even after a challenge, is what set up a huge run for the Mavs, too. Anyway I know people don't like complaining about refs but the reality is that if this game was called fairly the Timberwolves won.

The biggest issue is Minnesota has a crappy offense. They have only one play... Give it to Edwards or Towns and hope they can produce a scoring play, or have them pass to waiting three point shootwers in the wings. That is it. They cannot generate consistent offense in endgame situations. They'll be in trouble until they rectify that.

The young brother, Anthony, showed his inexperience and immaturity to an extent inasmuch as I believe he and thus the team were simply not mentally ready for this next level (conference final) challenge. He and the team were suffering from a “game seven victory” hangover. The “Antman” and crew will be ready on Friday. Sometimes we all need an abrupt “pimp” slap in the face to return to reality. The “Antman’s” continual mental growth and maturity says he will learn from this and be ready, moving forward.
