BLEACHING and dying my hair PINK

Recently, I needed to dye my hair back to its regular red, however, there was a stretch of time where my hair was partially PINK! Here’s a video I made to document my bleaching and dying process.
Disclaimer: I know a proper hair stylist could’ve done a better job with fewer hiccups, but I really enjoy doing my own hair and figuring it out myself.

Your video showed up in my algorithm and I’m a sucker for hair dying videos so of course I clicked. I’m so used to people who don’t get the end result they were hoping for and saying something along the lines of “I’m probably going to try re-dye it/try again tomorrow” and then following up with something like “let me know if you want me to make a video on that” and then immediately end the current video and then we don’t get to see the end result. But when I assumed yours was about to end - and then it kept going right away into the *stunning* end result?? Instant subscribe 🥰 love the pink on you! Honestly, a dusty pink is what I was originally going for (before I added the hot pink) so I totally agree! It did fade to a sort of dusty pink at points (though I didn't show it in this video), so I got the best of both worlds. 😊

Try little accent rope braids while it’s down with one strand set pink and one with your copper. Same with braids. I loved doing that when I had mine. Dutch braid piggy tails are my favorite though. Good job. Very cute.

@@ElizabethChamberlain if you’re really good at braiding or following tutorials try a waterfall braid along where the colors meet. It may looks really cool but could be too low. Braiding will get really fun!

First of all I was thinking omg her beautiful red hair but actually you did it really really well and it looks beautiful on you plus your hair still looks very healthy did you use Olaplex on it?

Thank-you! I was honestly super worried about ruining my hair, so I was relieved too! No, I didn't use Olaplex. I was actually so surprised at how soft my hair felt after just the bleach. I was surprised it didn't feel dry at all. It actually felt softer than it did before I bleached it! Weird.

Hair at the back of the head is darker and takes longer to lighten than the front.

Sometimes it takes longer to lighten, but it’s not the same for everyone.
