Very smart. A lot of bleach fails are from doing your whole head at once. It's just too big of a job and doesn't process evenly when you do it yourself.

Hey esthetician here! Another reason why we don't suggest coconut oil for hair or skin is because it actually can't penetrate because the molecules are too large, any hydrating effects you feel is the equivalent of putting on a Vasile, it holds water in so it appears hydrated, its not actually the oil soaking in and giving hydration. Coconut oil only soaks in or penetrates the hair and skin if it is a coconut oil formulated for hair and skin, so you cannot just buy the coconut oil from the shopping center and use it like everyone says you can. Also, the Coconut oil most people buy and use is intended for cooking and does not break down once it is rinsed off the hair and skin and goes down the drain, leading to a build up over time in the pipes, just like greese on a stove. It is not hurting the hair and skin so you can use it, but a coconut oil serum for the hair will give you much better results! Loved the video, you are super funny 😄

That doesn’t make sense. Organic Coconut oil from the supermarket will absolutely have the same result as coconut oil with a label ‘for hair’ slapped on it. Unless you’re talking about fractionated coconut oil then it usually will mention that on the label. Either way coconut for hair and for the food are the same. They might be from different farms and quality wise in that respect.
