I’m not sure I can convey how utterly blown away I am by this pedal. It’s truly amazing. It puts me in mind of the tape delay on the Dead Man soundtrack that Neil Young recorded. Your demo of this really covers so much inspiring ground, it’s uncanny. As someone who stacks delays, this could really pair down a board while making it more versatile. Excellent demo, Eric! I don’t really have any experience with the El Cap but the 2 delays are kiiiind of similar but I think they’re approaching a similar sound in different ways. I wish I had a better answer but I think it comes down to your preference. Or if you need reverb, then the el cap is the only one with reverb. I really dig the tapescape!
