I also don't think Spotify listener data is a good indicator of a band's size considering the impact of Spotify's Popular Playlists on skewing stats towards people who probably have only listened to 1 song in a playlist. I think this is evident in the size of the venues they're playing and their low position on the festival lineup when really they should be well on their way to headlining festivals like Bloodstock at this point. I am aware there are smaller bands who also deserve to be successful (please everyone listen to Slowbleed) but that's not really my point.
