I had the honor of watching these guys for the first time last night .. their first US tour.. and WOW.. One of the best metal bands out there today. I absolutely loved it.. They killed their set the only issue was it was too short!! After the show, they ALL hung around and took photos w/ their fans and I have the best picture of all of us together that I will cherish. They are all so kind and they all hugged me and thanked me for coming, I mean come on!! So nice so cool and so talented. I wish the the absolute best on their current tour w/ August Burns Red and hopefully many tours in the future!!

Now, what I find refreshing is that the band doesn't constantly switch between tempo, half-tempo and blastbeats every freaking 4 bars. The entire song has a nice flow to it. Riffs are cool, lyrics are cool. It's a good song.

@@sashaalexa8907 As Daylight Dies is one of Killswitch Engages best albums with My Curse earning platinum. An Ocean Between Us is a great album by AILD but KsE takes it for me. Both bands are great but KsE has always been a big part of my life growing up since 2004. You like what you like and we like what we like. Either way keep enjoying metal for what it is.

Metalcore is not my go-to subgenre, but the odd one arouses my interest. I liked the arrangements on this wedded to the outraged wrath vocal and the complete contrast to the message which one of peace - kind of being angry at anger.
