For those of you guys wondering why I didn't use a funnel or something like that to get the coolant level higher without needing to balance the reservoir, I wanted to use one! Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to get the adapters to work for the funnel that I've got. If anyone has tips for how to use the harbor freight coolant funnel with the Audi reservoir, I'd love to hear them!

Wow that was a huge temperature swing. Air lock was my first thought. Not sure if thats what it was. Thanks for posting. Cheers

What’s up Sal, love your videos. What is your opinion on cold air intakes for old Toyota tundras and are you thinking of ever getting on for your own?

I haven't had any experience with a cold air intake for the tundra, but I haven't really had a desire to install one. For me, the truck is the reliable work horse of the fleet haha so I don't really want to mess with what already works if that makes sense. Thanks for watching!

Hi Cool video! My Audi 2004 A4 B6 1.9tdi has got the same problem. No heating in cabine. We changed the water pump few months earlier in July(big service). Now I don't have heating in cabine, so we changed the thermostat, heater core. Still nothing. Maybe some clugged coolant way channels in the engine house? I would appreciate any idea.

Bled mine today also a 1.8t, The way I do it is I dont leave the reservoir open, You want pressure to build in the system so that its easy to push the air out, 2k revs and hold it for 10 seconds then open the bleed holes

That's a good point. I re-bled mine the other day too because I had to do some work to the engine and had a much easier time bleeding it this time around. Thanks for watching!

I don't quite remember how I stumbled upon your channel, and I'm not a car person (plant person), but I enjoyed watching your videos. Are you an auto mechanic by trade, or how did you know all these things otherwise?
@JDMDriveway6 ай бұрын
I appreciate that! I'm certainly not a mechanic, but I just like learning and KZbin has been a huge resource for me. So this channel is my effort to be a resource for other people too! Thanks for watching

The Alan screw on the line under the engine cover needs to be taken out while the reservoir is filled to bleed system
