Audi A4 b7 2006 1.6 alz benzinli motorda yağ soğutucu var mı. Genleşme kabında yağ gördüm. Genleşme kabındaki suda yağ var. Sorun nedir. Yardımcı olabilir misiniz
@TimeInQueue3 ай бұрын

Hi. I have a Passat B5 1.9 TDI. I want to bleed my heater core. In some videos, I watched that the engine should not be running while bleeding. What is your opinion ?
@TimeInQueue7 ай бұрын
Passat doesn't need bleeding. Just add coolant and make sure to check the coolant level when the engine is cold.

After doing this high rom purge, do you still get hot air from the heater when the car is just at idle? Is there coolant flowing at that hose when the car is at idle? Thanks in advance.
@TimeInQueue3 жыл бұрын
If you have all the air out of the system then it should be hot on idle

it took me 3 hours as when thermostt opened matrix drained empty and i had to let heat build up than open on pipe or hose but as soon as fan comes on it vaccuums air in again it is a complicated process and very risky but it worked in the end

Does a steady coolant flow come out when its does bleeding air?
@leeanderson18373 жыл бұрын
@@nathangutierrez1537 from another you tube i saw and the guy seems very knowledgeable ..he says the error is to bleed with engine running as hot pipe connects direct on water pump impellor so it sucks air in . he says lift up expansion tank warm up engine drain plug in steel pipe .switch off engine and bleed air from pin hole with engine off while keeping expansion tank full and high up . it took me 3 hours to bleed mine and there is probably still air in it but level does not move so i guess it is ok
@nathangutierrez15373 жыл бұрын
@@leeanderson1837 do you leave the bolt off from the steel pipe? Or take it off and put it on sporadically. Also how important is it to rev up your RPMs. Thanks for your help Lee

Yea... how the hell did you get that hose soo loose on the pipe at the heater core?? 😳 😒... I've had no hope
@Snowdog216 Жыл бұрын
You have to first take a small hose pick tool, or pick tool, I like the one with a 45 degree angle (huskey 60004H), you work the pick took all the way around the hose. It should lay flat against the plastic nip...le from the heater core so you don't puncture the hose. The key is to work it back at least an inch under the hose, all the way around the hose, to break loose the hose from the plastic pipe. Then with a wide pliers try to rotate the hose from side to side, to see it is fully broken loose. Go EASY if you break the n ip ple off the heater core that is a big problem. Using a small screwdriver, like an eyeglass size should work. Using a regular size screwdriver will not work so well as it only goes into the hose say 3/8 of an inch.

@@Snowdog216 you're 5 months to late my friend but good effort haha.. I got it off using that method in the end but it was difficult. That wasn't the issue. I changed the thermostat and that wasn't the issue so I assumed it had to be the water pump. Before I got that far, with a crunch the oil pressure light came on. When I opened up the sump the crank gear was damaged and then oil pump cog below was gone with parts in the oil pan... Refusing to give up, I bought a new crank gear but haven't sourced a new oil pump yet as most breakers won't break the car engine down that far, or so they told me.. I'm not even sure it can be changed but it is sold separately so I'm hoping it can. I'm not sure if any other damage has been caused by it ether. I was just hoping i can change the crank gear and oil pump and it would all be ok lol... How naive i hear you say but i guess I'll learn soon enough.. curosity has gotten me this fast but I haven't got the front offto look if it can be done yet. Its still on the axles while I find a dry day to strip it all down to see if it can be done. I probably should just scrap it but I'm a bit fond of it lol...

Mine was also stuck on very tightly, I used a flathead as leverage on the edge of hose to pry it off. Just be careful not to rip the hose. Unfortunately for me I’ve bled the core 3 times and still have no heat unless the RPMs are in the high 4-5k range. Pisses me of because it was working fine up until I got my fuel pump replaced and the idiots at the shop somehow managed to burst the upper radiator hose while finishing the job. So either I have a clogged core or a massive air bubble somewhere lodged in the system.
@stevelake93334 жыл бұрын
@@allanj7750 I start to try a flat head but it seemed dodgy an I didn't want wreck anything, might try boiling water on it tomorrow to see if that helps. As for the mechanic bursting the hose ,, hope they sorted it, professionals ay ?? 🤣 Cheers for the reply 👍

I find "PB Blaster" to help. If no "PB Blaster" is on hand, I use WD-40. On some newer VAG cars, they do use some sort of sealant on the hose ends. That is not dissolved by the lubricants.
