I liked that format of video how you put it together. I've always loved those old Dodges like that. My first vehicle I ever owned was a 72 dodge long bed truck I bought for $500 out of a field it had sit in for 20+ years lol. Loved that truck and still miss it. My friend had an old short cab short bed power wagon also.

Great video! I have Rough Country 2.5" lift w/shocks on my 2013 JK and I love it. I just took it to Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, TX and it worked out great. Eventually when I go to a 4" lift, I am going to look at them again.

I would have laughed if you put the lift on then it didnt fit out door. I did that with some friend before, it was a oh s@#$ moment. Had to get some donuts spare tires to lower it enough to get it out.

Lmao that had to be funny as hell
@truckin-skywalker18819 жыл бұрын
deflate tires just enough to get out or get a lot of big friends to sit on it
@chefdan879 жыл бұрын
Lucas Davis We tried all that to no avail. Cant remember where we found the donuts that worked. Even contemplated using ratchet straps to compress the suspension until out of the shop.
@Wooble579 жыл бұрын
+chefdan87 the straps probably would have broken at the worst possible time (presuming you used the cheap small ones) i'd probably have just stuck some plywood down then dragged it out on the drums otor's.
@chefdan879 жыл бұрын
animefreak5757 My straps are definitely strong enough it just didn't work, we could not get the leverage to crank them tight enough against the beefy stiff suspension. And I would never roll a heavy truck on its rotors and drums. Its a 94 F-350 Powerstroke That is just asking for damage. We were going to roll it out balanced on a floor jack but the donuts turned up and we got it done that way.

are these old dodge power wagons any good? I have been looking at them and I was just wondering, would these trucks take a beating from work and little off road? or would the sheet metal just sent like it was tin foil. and how does it compare to the ford trucks at the time?
@Saya-fs1jo8 жыл бұрын
their pretty good bodypannels fairly thick, their not fast not powerful, but with good tires they grip like mad in soppy foot deep mud and I've pulled a few trees and a building with mine no problems . just be warned youl need to replace the steering u joint its a tabbed collar deal they wear out in 20yrs or so, beyond that their just bouncy off road that's really it good solid vehicles tho
