Another way to fill a curve (after a _Curve_ is made) is to go directly from _3D View_ to the _UV/Image Editor_ and use the _Fill_ tool within the same _Texture_ (assuming the curve's _Radius_ value was thick enough from before to allow filling within the curve). At least, this seems to work in Blender 2.79b. God bless, TheMarineIguana Studios

ctrl left click to draw the curve just continues to make more points for me... what am i doing wrong?

Isn't possible to lock the curve on the object? the mesh? In that way it could be possible to rotate the object and draw the curve on the opposite side. Thanks

Can I take an imported SVG file and convert it into a paint curve? Why aren't paint curves the same as other curves? can they be converted? I think it would be very useful to be able to use 3D curves in painting, and sculpt mode. I can draw curves much better in Inkscape. If I could use SVG files in sculpt mode, and texture painting, it would be very useful.

How did you create a closed curve?
@agiledevart3 жыл бұрын
It looks close but it isn't. I created the last curve point over the first one. They look like a single point, but are actually 2 separate points.

@@agiledevart Thanks. It was driving me crazzy. I've never seen a curve tool before that didn't have a close option.

Hit 'cyclic' if you want it closed.

Why things need to be always so cryptic though, i mean i get it, CTRL and RIGHT click to create a damn point, why not, i guess this was the only way not to interfere with the other controls... but the fact that the Draw Curve button does nothing, and i need to find a tutorial that tells me to hit Enter, what the f.
