Thanks a lot for this tuto which is very great and make me better in blender. I have a little question about the point light : To have something similar inside the lamp, I need to divide the power and the radius by 10. Have you an idea why? I have the same units (Watt and meters). Thank for all and continue to feel us happy with your so many tuto ;)!
@christopherobert1032 жыл бұрын
I answer myself and for even another people just in case as I just find why. The dimension of my lamp is very smaller than yours, sorry for the question, all is great now. OK, I get out! :D

Only the context menu shortcut, the auto smooth is in object data properties / normals for a loooong time (since 2.79 at least)

I'm at that cliché point where I feel like I'm missing smth terribly obvious - world properties: power set to 1.000 and purpleish color - Point light at 150w and 25cm size. Yet my scene is quite darker than yours.

Try render settings -> color management -> play with exposure

@@polygonrunway Thanks. If I can pester you for a different question: how would one go about making a flickering effect for the light? Going by what I learned from your other videos - namely the Burger animation video - I added a simple 2 frame animation to the Point light with the last one set to Bounce, and that seemed to work. Do you have any suggestions? Or another one of your tutorials where this might be showcased? Thank you.
