Wonderful video, I have linked to it in my courses because it shows edge flow so beautifully. It was also one of the things that got me hooked to Blender in the very beginning. Great job!

I think my Topology Works video is probably more about edge flows.

Great video! Question- At around 0:49, you have one vertex selected and press F to make a face, and it makes an entire quad. When I try that, it makes a tri between the selected vertex and the surrounding verts. How do you set it to make the quad?

+Eain Bankins well, this is addon, called , that was written by my demand/donation by Bartius Crouch and it is already built in Blender. You already have it, it can be found in addons section, also I recommend to fill AutoGrab checker in addon's prefrences. Addon works pretty easy - it builds quad from selected vertex (0:49), or quad from selected edge (1:36) Pretty much good for modeling. You can find a lot of videos about F2 modeling/retopology at my channel.

Релиз будет после оформления документации. dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59609328/Blender-Rus/1D_Scripts.py

Great Job! I follow your video and modeled the element by myself. I'd like to 3d printing it. Is there any way to put the surfaces together and realize a watertight solid?

Maybe it's stupid question, but I cannot find any more info about it. I see that instead of normal cursor you are using kind of circle shaped (it looks like you have constantly enabled circle selection). Is it another addon or built-in blender function? Are there any benefits from it or it is only for visual reasons? Btw really great, solid, hard surface videos. I'm glad I found someone who actually cares about topology while modelling with edge extrusion method. Good luck man!

well, this is display feature of blender's screencast addon, and it does nothing but shows cursor
