That was incredible! And I have noidea how you did some of those animations, I guess at least one of them was reversed, so you make the model, set a shape key and then spend a ton of time flattening and rearranging vertices, but some of the other animations was mind blowing, thanks.

Would you do it any different in Blender 4?
@1DInciner Жыл бұрын
As far as I know stripe modeling didnt changed last decade. In 4 i would make it slower, because of artificially dimmed mesh selection, which makes hard to follow reference (this is why people massively increase vertex size) but it is going to have a nice chance to be fixed in 4.1

Stripe modeling is quite easy to learn by the way, it is one of the first modeling methods I teached people when used to teach Blender. It require knowing G.E.A.R.S. hotkeys and F2, and simultaneously fits organic modeling and retopology.

Fspy wasn't available, but it is still useless for such kind of case since it is almost Z axis rotated otho view on a refrence which makes its tracking almost impossible. Fspy approach require some nice cubic shape with clear perspective distortion to produce nice tracking.
