If anyone's here for the first time - don't bother finding another tutorial. Out of the many I have seen, this is the best fluid simulator tutorial so far at a novice level. Not a second wasted. Would love to see the tutorial for the waterfall that you showed in the beginning. Until then, keep the good work up!

Wow 😮 … out of the myriads of KZbinrs out there “teaching” blender.. you got it down to the most simplistic order for a beginner (hence blender is so intimidating in this pov)… thank you 🙏🏼 subscribed… keep it up pls!!! ❤

Can we make simulation iteract with cloth?

Amazing tutorial, i have a question, how can i avoid the domain turning itself to the mesh? I have an inflow object is the only thing i want to be producing the liquid but the domain generates automatically a big square mesh

Can you use this to simulate someone in water. Like half submerged ?

I couldn’t get the water animation working, I did everything according to the instructions. later I solved the problem. THANK YOU FOR THE SUPER LESSON!!!!
@3dd20511 ай бұрын
I solved the problem, interesting. The cube that we duplicated, which is water, must initially go beyond the first cube before being reduced. Otherwise the simulation will not work. You didn't say it, but you just showed it for a moment...

@@3dd205 could you clarify what you mean by "The cube ... must initially go beyond the first cube before being reduced". It's really throwing me off lol

Do I have to pay for the fluid sim?
@remolus2 ай бұрын
i wonder why it takes so long to render for me. I've baked the fluid simulation and even the mesh. But it takes like 40 minutes to render this. Blender 4.3 with cycles and GPU compute on RTX3070ti.

When the next part?
@zergidrom45729 ай бұрын
theres no need to match inflow to domain, everything outside domain would be simply cut + adding smooth modifier to domain with factor 1 and 5-10 repeats would highly increase mesh quality

Wondering why I'm getting 3.5 FPS and choppy animation despite it being baked already? Hardware is Mac M2 with 32 GB RAM. It should be smooth, but it is not. Thank you.
@namaanda5349 Жыл бұрын
I got 12 cores CPU and that first bake is taking 2 minutes for every 10%. It's feel almost like holding tungsten for the first time, the weight our PC have to lift is extreme edit : FYI, my system only have 16gb ram, and 10 gb goes into blender for this video tutorial. few tabs on my chrome runs out of memory, fortunately no major crash
