This feels more like a 100$ Gumrod tutorial course than a KZbin video with 350 Views. ITs fast paced without leaving anything out, easy to follow and without any lengthy sponsoring parts or ads. Thanks a bunch for that, will be watching the entire tutorial now and try to follow it through ;) Hard for me to understand how you only got 1.8k followers though, but I'm sure your channel will be huge. Cheers :)

Thank you so much, I really wanted to be thorough with the process and I may have gotten a bit carried away. You can thank ForceQuit for the video quality he gave me one hell of a learning curve in video making process. Only just started this KZbin thing this year, got lucky with my Comic book Time lapse popping off. So I decided I had come out swinging with new uploads.

This is an amazing tutorial, you made learning kitbashing characters way easier than it looks! Thanks for that :) But I just want to ask, is there a way to make Blender not lag when I enter the texture view after unpacking the textures? It kept freezing a lot unless I isolated the object.
@ArmouredAvianАй бұрын
That's just the shader view in general. I edited it out in the video, but it will take time for it to load all the textures.

This is such a fantastic tutorial series! I used it to learn kitbashing Street Fighter V models and my new kitbashed model looks great. My only question is, do you plan to make a tutorial on UV mapping and/or baking maps?
@ArmouredAvianАй бұрын
Haha, I still use Maya and Substance Painter for those. I have yet to learn how to do it in Blender.

Awesome tutorial, just went through the series so far and I've actually started doing some renders myself. Super motivating. Did have a question though if you don't mind: Are there any other assets/model packs you would recommend, or places to look for more? I've found myself wanting to do some characters that maybe look a bit less "tactical" and modern, but I've no clue where to find other models for clothing and the like. Thank you!

Daz Studio + Diffeomorphic transfer add-on to import them into Blender. The Daz Studio software is free but relies on paid asset pack shop as a business model. Though there are third party alternatives. I used it for my "Tasty Burger Timelapse" you can edit expressions and import poses. My upcoming tutorial videos will be about it.

Oh wow I never knew Daz had it's own marketplace I always thought it was just for base human models. Thanks for the reply I guess I'll have to check it out sooner rather than later then. Will definitely be looking forward to your new videos on it, all of the previous parts of the series have been very insightful.

this was a well needed tutorial, there is nothing in youtube blender "world" dealing with downloading characters kitbashing and making it all work. i really appreciate your videos -i downloaded them- thank you so mush

Yeah, I noticed it was an unexplored niche. I'll be sure to make more tutorial videos in the future expanding on it.

Okay I know I am just some guy, but your content is simply amazing and fills a niche that has been left empty for far too long. You finally motivated me to pick up blender again and remaster an old sfm animation I made in blender now. I really hope you gain more traction because your content is straight up perfect. Easy to follow, concise, to the point and still informative. So thank you so much, I'll bribe the sky-overlords to rain down views and subscribers onto you, cuz you definitely deserve it!

The links are working fine for me. Could be that giant world wide network disruption. Try using a VPN when you download.

For now I just watched this video, and it already cleared up a lot of the doubts I had about these models. Just one question, when I went to check the models I saw that they weigh around 1.47G , you need the Premium version of the program (Mega) to download them, right?
@ArmouredAvian10 ай бұрын
You don't need a premium account to download them. Because I didn't use any account to download them. Mega's Free Download Limit is 5GB
