at 4:00 you skipped a bit so im confused sorry:,) how did you make the line in the middle? mine doesnt have that
@blendera2 жыл бұрын
OMG thank you so much for telling me that the part is missing, I'm going to have to fix that! Go to the edit mode, front view, select top and bottom vertex and F to make an edge between them so you're going to get a straight line in the middle. Then right click while both are selected and subdivide to get more vertices. Move one by one from the side view, like we did for the first part, so everything is still in the middle.

This is so easy to follow! I have used Blender just a couple of times and this video helped me learn so much! The character that I'm making has a completely different facial structure than the character in this video, but I'm facing no problem whatsoever while making that! Thank You So Much for this tutorial!!

I get that this is a year old but I feel the need to comment that the neck segment at 24:44 does not seem to work as intended anymore. Unless there was some sort of setting that I wasn't aware of, it seems to always twist the vertices near the throat out of position. Not sure if it's an issue with versions or something else, so I had to do it manually. Awesome tutorial though, I'm gonna be using this as a base mesh. It's a lot of work making these models!

This was perfect💖 The green guidelines from the ref's side view gave a clear picture of how to format the geometry. I'm usually overwhelmed with where topology should go!😭🙏

The neck part was a little fast and I'm stuck on it. At 24:44 when I right click there's no option for loop tools
@blendera Жыл бұрын
Hi, check if you have LoopTools enabled. Go under Edit, Preferences, Add-ons and search for LoopTools, if it's not checked, click to check it.

Is the fixed image ref an updated version of what is featured in the video? Because my brain is getting all tangled up. Thing is, I'm just very afraid of messing up and then having to start all over again.

at 5:52 the footage looked like it got cut and now I'm so confuzzled on what you did for the lips in side view.

Hi, just select vertices one by one and go to the side view (3) to move them back. Switch to front view (1) to check and move from the front, roughly follow the shape. Sorry I messed up the video, you don't have to worry about the ones that looked different, just had to repeat because I messed and erase them, you can leave them if you already made them and put them in place. I will make a better video on this topic soon!

How do I change the view on the circle that was added to the reference photo I can't move on because I don't know where to find it at
@РусланВист Жыл бұрын
Hello. Stuck on a part with eyes 8 52. When I create a circle, on the right (scene collection) "circle001" appears, without a mirror modifier. You don’t have this in the video after creating the circle. The problem is that I can not mirror the created circle for the eyes. Even though I add a modifier to it, it doesn't work.
@blendera Жыл бұрын
Hi, you need to create a circle while in the edit mode for your first object. If you go to the object mode you would create a circle as a new object without modifiers. You can join them by selecting first your new circle001, then circle and Ctrl+J. All modifiers will be applied from the last selected object. Let me know if that worked!
