Under subsurface, there is a dropdown menu called subsurface radius, which is an RGB colour control. By default this is set to R=1 G=0.2 and B=0.2, this is the approximate values for Caucasian skin, which is why it looks red/orange. Set them to 1-1-1 (or experiment) and then plug something into the subsurface colour.

Thanks a lot for sharing, I didn't know about it. I plugged in an RGB node to subsurface radius that way I can pick the color I want and it automatically converted into RGB values

Hi. Thanks for the video. I want to use this material and create a seethrough material so it will be possible to see inside the object. Imagine human body where you can see bones. Is this possible to add some transparency to this material?

You can combin shader with the mix shader node so you can combine a subsurfshader with a transperancy or transluceny shader

You can decrease the alpha a bit, I think that sould work
