Why can i not see other truck varients? i want to edit the flat top 389 and its only letting me see the full sleeper

Dunsparth you have to hide the other variants using the eyeball

Yeah for some reason the SCS varients drop down menu was not showing for me so i re extracted the scs and re converterd it all and its there now, great tutorial thank you!

i cant find any of the truck share trailer share or any of the stock game files. theyre not in my documents folder, i moved everything over to my other hard drive. but i cant find any of the stock vehicle files anywhere! (using steam version) please help

i took the base scs file over the extractor tool and now i have the files i need but all the folders are empty?

Nope. When you extract base.scs it can take up to 20 mins. Let the window close on its own.

When I export my files, it says that they are .pim and .pit, but how to do I convert these back into the .pmg and .pmd files that SCS games can actually read?

Conversion tools. They are setup in the panel with the export to pit/pim

Look at the SCS modding wiki, it can solve your problem with the second part. The first means you have a truck that includes a truck configuration screen which isn't needed any longer.

I have a question please is my first time installing the conversion tools, after i download the conversion tools, how i install it in blender? There 4 folders BASE,BIN,LICENSE,RSRC. what next because there isnt have a instruction to install it. Please Help me

You don't install conversion tools in blender. You install Blendertools in blender.

@@Halffastgaming I have the 2.78 version already but i want to install the addon to read the pim and pit file, i just have install it the blender2scs import/export model but, not the others you have there to read the pim and pit file, please help me

You need Blendertools for blender. Conversion Tools are after you've used blender, and converterPIX is what you use to get it into pit/pim. I have multiple videos showing this, including my most recent one.

Hi, sins this video, i stop't working with it, but now i'm going to give it a go again, as i have ample time. Friend, i see io_scs_tools, but no ( io_scs_scene ). Can you help me with this, where's the file that holds this ( io_scs_scene ) file, or did i mis something you did that i don't have it in my bleder file. i have the latest blender from steam and web download and in both of them ( io_scs_scene ) is on vacation lol.

thanks for the help. i can finally import and export. im trying to tint all the windows on the cab of viper2's 389. i think its an automat file i have to edit. im not 100% though. any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is, but it will be tough to find. Search for glass_ext tobj inside the automats folder. You'll need a filesearch tool to do it.

Sounds like you have some errors to hash out in the conversion.

Hey there!! Awesome video! I have a question... I am trying to load the pim truck file but get loads of texture errors and pink spots on some things. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? It’s driving me nuts!! Thanks in advance!! Nicole

If you are getting texture errors and pink, that means what you are importing doesn't have all of the textures included.

@@Halffastgaming thank you sooo much!!! That worked!! Now I gotta figure out how to export properly and then get the mod into the game. I want to mod the chrome steps of the 389 with chrome lettering. Anything you recommend to do it easily?

@@nicolesowers9224 you can use blender to write in any font you have on your pc. A quick search here on KZbin should get you on the right track for the lettering.

I did find another io_scs_scene file from somebody else's youtube video, but I'm sure that's a part of an older version of blender tools that I'm not using.
