This physics thing is cool but I've just learnt how to move the origin besides the 'move to ...' method and it was always a HUGE pain for me. I've seen quite a few tutorials but nobody mentioned or used it so far. Keep these videos coming, they are really helpful!

Hey, I dont understand the extrude a subdivided edge part, should i cut loose that last face and use it as a new object and then apply the cloth and solidify modifiers?

I think he ment that you have to extrude all edges / vertecies to the side in order to create faces. Then go back to object mode and add the two modifiers to that object.
