Wonderful I finished modelling with yout TUT. I might figure out some errors while modelling myself nad I'm wondering if there's a way to complete the model with texture.
@pixlways Жыл бұрын
That's great that you were able to follow the tutorial and complete the modeling! Don't worry about any errors, that's part of the learning process. For texturing the model, here are a few tips: Use reference images to recreate realistic materials Start simple with basic color first Look into UV unwrapping if new to texturing Consider a program like Substance Painter for advanced texturing We'd be happy to help if you have any other questions as you texture your model! We'd also love to see your progress - feel free to share images of your work. Texturing can really bring a model to life. Keep up the great learning!

@@pixlways thank you for the description I'm getting stuck at uv unwrap due to I don't know how to remesh objects the mesh is too thick to unwrap in UV. Still struggling but I'm ok with adding basic material for the scene

Thank you! Probably not, but you can follow our other texture creation tutorials; the process is the same. Check out 'Vale Material Creation' via this link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJS6gYCEj72mm9Efeature=shared

Friend, will there be a sequel with texturing? I did the same grenade model, I don't understand how to properly sweep and bake without artifacts. Thanks
@pixlways Жыл бұрын
Hello Kordmaster, I’m so glad you’ve replicated the grenade model, and I would love to see your result. We won’t be providing a video on baking and texturing the model. However, I can direct you to one of our videos which follows the same process. Please check it out, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. could you explain why you make the sphere segments into 24 and the reason you rotate the duplicates into 60 degree? the other videos dont really explain your thought process as well like the valve where you rotate 7.5 degree, i suggest explaining more on your next video🙂

@pizza7256 Жыл бұрын
want to ask and its probably the usual old topology debate but is it okay to have tris or ngons in modelling? 😁
@pixlways Жыл бұрын
It depends on your model and where you're using it. Usually, on flat surfaces, you have more flexibility to use ngons, and they typically don't cause problems. However, in general, it's acceptable to incorporate tris and ngons in your modeling.

@@andyfarr6981 Appreciate you looking out for original content creators! Chamferzone is an awesome tutor, but we just happened to cover the same subject matter in our own unique ways. It's common for multiple CG artists to model similar objects like this, while having different approaches and teaching styles. Rest assured this was not stolen from anyone - though we have a lot of respect for other talented creators like Chamferzone pushing Blender education forward. Healthy discussion and crediting others is so important in this community. Thanks for the clarification!
