Hi everyone! A few of you have mentioned that you've found the segment on making the hand a bit too fast to keep up with. Apologies for that! It was my first time making a tutorial so the pacing might not be perfect. I've made a little image of all the steps to follow for the hand which you can find here: imgur.com/a/edP5x8R I hope you find that useful and it helps you with the hand process! I'll try to improve my pacing and clarity in future tutorials as well 😊

If someone is like me and didn't understand how to align vertices in 23:20, here's how to do it: choose 2 vertices, press S for scaling, then Shift+Y (it will allow us to move vertices along X and Z axis) and then 0. After that you can simply choose another 2 vertices and press Shift+R to repeat last action!

Absolutely one of the best Blender tutorials out there. Excellent tips on blender but also intro to topology (like “why” to keep roughly square-ish faces) where most others gloss over or don’t even mention. Love the pacing. At first glance the finished project sounds intimidating to a newbie like myself, but you show how it’s very approachable and not too tough at all. Everything gone over applies to loads of other ideas and projects. Very inspiring. Keep up the good work!

It's nice that you're already recommending good practice by saying to keep the faces square and making sure that there are no triangles

Damn..I’m so grateful your video popped out at my recommendation. I’m currently learning on how to do my own 3d character in blender using your methods. I’m just leaving this comment here so that after I accomplish my goal, I’ll share with you! Once again, keep up the tutorials coming! Nice effort you put in your videos:)
