Blender Tutorial - Abstract Procedural Dark Matter Animation In Blender 2.83

In this video we will make an abstract procedural animation in Blender 2.83. We will use the Displacement Modifier and do some Procedural Animation. We will also use the Noise Texture to add some quick detail.
You will need Blender 2.8. This is a Blender Eevee tutorial.

Hey Man Awesome Stuff....!! Really an amazing one....!! But I'd Suggest another way for animating the Outer Dark matter thing.... Instead of Fiddling with the Keyframes Which indeed gives a loop...... You can Change the coordinate in the Displace Modifier from Local to Object and Select an Empty.... By changing the loc, rot n scale of the Empty you can Animate this one a lot faster.......!! Any ways love from India ❤️

Wonderful tutorial. Just 2 questions : 1. Which renderer did you use (Eevee or Cycles). 2. How much time did you take to render that animation.

It's rendered in Eevee at 1080p it took about 6 seconds per frame (ryzen 1700x and 1060 6gb) at 30 fps, so you can do the math!

Why are you using two P BSDF's in mix shader? Just use a mix RGB with the two colors in P BSDF and a use a noise texture as factor.

Yeah that works too but then you will not be able to say make one matallic and one specular. Plus using two p shaders gives you more options to work with.

After choosing the environment texture in world settings, everything will go pink because the texture slot in the environment texture is empty. So you need to download something called a hdri. You can think of an hdri as a 360 degree image. So hdrihaven.com has free hdris that you can download. After downloading the hdri that you like, go to the world settings and open the hdri in the environment texture. That's it!
