BLENDER TUTORIAL - How to make a cute character - Part 1. THE HEAD

Hello everyone ! I'm back with a new series of tutorials on how to make a character. I try to keep it as simple as possible using basic shape and modifier. In this part one we will see how to make the head, and in the second and third part we will see how to make body, clothes and accessoires so we can give our character more personnality !

hey! but with this character would I be able to make animation by rigging it? because we are making it via sculpting, eyes, nose and other parts are not individual just like we make characters by modeling: so will I be able to have a rig for these and animate at the end or is it gonna create any problem?

If you are sculpting instead of modeling you will have to do retopology before trying to animate it otherwize it will be way to heavy and impossible for the computer to calculate !

Ahh I know this video was from a little while ago, but if you see this, I’m wondering why when I try to draw on the eye pupil thing, it won’t let me and it’s saying “missing textures”, do you know if there could be a solution to it? TwT

Hi ! Do you have save your image on the left pannel ? Sometimes its because you forget to save the texture you have just created (right after when you have created a new texture slot) . Also check in your Shading pannel that the image is well connected (and even try to reload it just in case) Let me know if this help !!

Hi ! I didn’t attach the eye the to head, I have just placed the eye close to the head (and rotate it a bit) so i doesn’t look like it’s floating ! Hope this help !

@@youtubeyt9878 hello ! You can do it differents ways ! Once you have export it you can send it to your phone with an email, or with Wetransfer, or Sendanywhere (these are website), you can also put it on your Google Drive account and download it with your phone :) ! Hope this help !
