Beautiful Blend! The downfall of a hackle is the waste. I think thats why I prefer the drum carder and dizzing off from that. I love the hackle when working with a long wool fleece though.

you could put the leftovers through a drum carder for woolen spinning, or use hand carders.

Save your hackle waste. Either put it through the drum carder, or use a blending board to turn it into rolags. 😊

this looks like. great way to blend as oppose to carders is there waste with this type? I think all yarn can be salvaged

Yes there is some waste at the end but I still spin the waste!
