My son (6'5") got my (4' 10 1/2") dyes, steamer, "good fibers" down from the top shelf in my sewing/craft room! Yeah!!!! My plan is to spend Christmas Day just playing with fiber, dyeing some and maybe using the drum carder but definitely spinning. Our house has been waaaaay too effected by COVID and getting ready for a virtual Christmas this year so I haven't been at the fibers much. Since you asked: I am in Minnesota and the COVID is real! So my 17 yo grandson has ended up living with me since April due to the yuck. And his dog, a golden doodle (2 1/2 yo) who is now in heat thank you very much COVID for not allowing her to get spade. Whatever. At the moment our house and extended families are in various stages of illness/quarantine/holed up. But thankfully we are all alive. This Christmas will be like Thanksgiving - virtual. Stay safe people and smile behind those masks, twinkling eyes can be seen and are appreciated. ♥

It got very scary here for awhile too. Or local hospital was literally unable to get patients feed for entire days because they were packed. It's a different kind of Christmas but we are very thankful for what we have this year.

Hi everyone, yeah it's been a real crazy year. Lockdown situation which we all find Ourselves In. Yeah I know this COVID19 is bad , I can sympathise with pepple who have had it. 4 members of my family have had it, a lady that my son worked with had it & unfortunately she passed away. One of my grandsons was hospitalized with it. Fortunately his brother had it but not as bad. Has we come to the end of this year I hope that 2021 is Filled with Love,Joy,Peace &Hope MERRY Christmas to everyone Blessings to all. Love Jen xxxx 😃😃🎄🎄🎁🎁💗💗💗💗

@@FiberLoveDiary That is insane! It hasnt gotten that bad here Colorado has done pretty good, my boss is super sick though and has been out of work for a month and a half. He is on Oxygen 24/7 he took the Oxygen off just long enough to change and his O2 level dropped to 82. In Colorado anything below 90 is bad news. He has fluid in his chest cavity, double lung infection and two blood clots in his right lung. He is having a rough go at it but he is alive and I have been stalking his Facebook and GoFundMe for updates on him.
